Having a hard time of that, actually. <stupid brother gives me his cold five days before I leave... wish someone would drop a house on HIM> Aww I hope you feel better soon!! I'm taking my 11 year old cousin on the 27th and she just came down with the chicken pox last week (really bad actually...which is weird b/c she's been vaccinated) and she's so worried she's gonna miss the show! LOL! I was like "Honey, you've got 3 weeks...I think you'll make it." Now...as long as she didn't pass them on to me for a fun 2nd time around (it's happened in my family before)... Rachel

Ohhh, I hope you don't get them Rachel! I've never had chicken pox myself, but I have heard that they are definitely no fun at all. Now to be back on topic- Glinda- "Your Ozness, forgive him! He means no disrespectation. See, we all went to school together!" Elphaba: You're the only friend I ever had. Glinda: And I had so many friends! Galinda- "Oh look, it's tomorrow!" (I'm not sure if she still says this right before Popular, but it's on my tape so I thought I'd add it ) Galinda: Fiyero and I are going to be married! Elphaba: He's asked you already? Galinda: No, he doesn't know yet. ~~~Amy~~~

Ah, that part almost made me pee! She's just talking about Fiyero and marrying him, then it's midnight "Oh look! It's tomorrow!" I don't know what was so funny about it, but it was very hard for me to stop giggling about it afterwards.
And about the "ha!" line after the guards break up the witch fight, I never heard that. Oops! -gyps

One of my absolute favorites:
Elphaba: Now, wait just a clock tick. I know it may be hard for that blissful blonde brain of yours to comprehend that someone like him could choose someone like me, but its happened. It's real.
It's just such a great moment for her, and I love the way Idina plays it.

That is hands down my favorite line of the entire show. I love it. Not only is she reassuring herself that it's real but it's the first time we ever see Elphaba have some true confidence in herself. Everything that she has done she hasn't apologized for but we know shes sorry. She's sorry about the monkeys, she's sorry about Nessa, she's sorry that she's green and her father didn't love her. But this is one time when she's not backing down because she's scared or she feels she's done something wrong. For the first time in her life she feels Wicked and she's not afraid to say it, nor is she afraid to feel it.

Nothing like a good cackle to start the day...
Seriously during the "Catfight" scene, by the audience's reactions, you would have thought you stepped into the Jerry Springer show.
Silly Philly fans.

I haven't laughed so hard at a show since Urinetown and that was a whole other brand of humor. Tears were streaming down my cheek through more the 3/4 of Wicked, some because I was so moved, but mostly because I was laughing so hard.
