Howdy everybody! My name is Kat. I've been a fan of the book for about a hundred years, and a fan of Idina Menzel for about two hundred years, so when I heard about her doing the show way back in San Fran I was psyched! I live in Melbourne, Australia, so I just may be the most long-distance greenie on this board, but I'll make that Canadian count 5 and three quarters -- I spent a year there and consider it my home away from home -- it's very similar to Australia, different landscape but just as beautiful, and the people are stunning too! Anyhoo, I may be absent from this board for long stretches because the coloring is already making me a little dizzy, but I'll try and hang on!  Kat. |

Hi My name is Kathy. This is my first time ever on any kind of board. I live in Texas so I haven't seen Wicked yet but I already bought my ticket for the Jan 2nd show. Even if I have to take the Greyhound bus up to New York I will be there! I saw Idina and Kristin perform at the Tonys and after that I was hooked. The only Broadway shows I have seen are Aida and Rent. I saw the national tours of the those two shows in Texas and last November I was in NYC with my mom and we caught Rent and Aida on Broadway. Well that is me in a nutshell!

Hello Fellow Ozians! After a couple of days of looking around this board, I decided 'hey! I should sign up!' so I did! imagine that? haha anyways, I'm an enormous Wicked fanatic; I listen to the soundtrack on constant replay, I've read the script (and performed it by myself!) a bazillion times, and I'm currently readin the book (which is awesome beyond awesome!) I'm a big fan of the OBC because I loved Cheno and Norbert, they were the best. I've yet to hear JLT and although I'm sure she's great, she just isn't Cheno (no offense to anyone who loves her!). And although I was a huge New Kids on the Block fan, I love Norbie (yes I act like I know them and yes I am a dork!) Well, I hope to talk to you all more! <3

Fellow Ozians,
I already posted in another area, but I have a feeling I probably wasn't supposed to, so I definitely wanted to say hello here as well! How is everyone??? I am so thrillified to be a part of Verdigris and I can't wait to get to know all of you and be a part of the Wicked fan-mily!! I have seen Wicked three times and would go back 100 more times if I could! It is one of my favorite shows of all time...pure genius! Sweet Oz, it is amazing as I am sure you all know, but I just cannot stop talking about it (which is one of the main reasons I decided to join - hooray!)
I am a huge Idina Menzel fan, and I love Kristin as well and couldn't be happier that they were both nominated for a Tony and that Idina won! She is one of a kind, and sweet oz we are happy to still have her around, with the sudden departure of our dear old Cheno an all. I have much business to attend to..lol..i can't ever stop going into some Wicked line from the show and I am so happy to be able to just do it without being made fun of or considered "odd"

All right, getting the basics over with in an introduction here. I've been in love with Wicked! since the cast recording came out and I bought it on a whim because I'd always been a fan of the Wizard of Oz and thought I'd see what it was like. Surprise, surprise - I adored it, and went on to read the book and collect every bit of information and media that I could. The cast recording is the only CD I keep with me constantly, and I adore everything about it.
I have seen the performance, though never at the Gershwin, and I'll leave it at that, so don't worry about spoiling things when it comes to the show for me.
I'm also a huge fan of Idina and Kristin and love their solo albums.
As one last fangirling-related thing, I'm wearing a necklace made out of three Italian charms - two are green glitter, and the center one is the Wicked! Playbill image cover. Is it hard to see that I love this musical?
I'm quite friendly and love to talk and the sort, so drop me a line if you like...and that's all. XD

I saw Wicked last Sunday after religiously listening to the soundtrack the entire summer. I go to performing arts camp, so of course we blare Broadway musicals from the stereos. Anyway, I loved the music even before I saw the show, and I bought the soundtrack as soon as I returned home from camp. After begging my parents for about a week, they finally took me. Being the closed-minded old farts that they are, they hated it and only stayed because I was under a spell that can't be broken. I am officially Wickedified!

My name is Christopher. I love Broadway and especially Wicked!!! I've seen it twice and absolutely LOVE it! Idina's belt is so amazing! I'm on another forum for all of Broadway and everytime Wicked is mentioned we get attacked by the other posters so I decided to join Verdigris!
