Idina doesn't get any money from resales of her CD on sites like eBay. She only got money from the original sales when the CD was released. So it really doesn't matter where you get the CD or how much you pay for it; Idina doesn't see any of that money nor does it count towards her sales numbers. I know having the actual CD with the booklet is nice, but if you want to support Idina the best way is to pay to download the entire CD from a site like iTunes, Napster, or MusicMatch. (I know iTunes has it for $9.99. Not sure if the others have it or for how much.) You won't have a real CD but at least the downloads from these sites are officially counted by the record labels.

*Sigh* What else can be said about Idina? She rocks the Gershwin! I really hope she wins the Tony for Best Actress. Though I want Kristin to win too......I STILL wish Idina got the Tony for Rent....

It's such a hard competition for the Tony for Best Actress in a Musical. Especially for the two of them. Knowing that they're going to be competing against each other like that! I'm sure that they'll both support each other though no matter who wins, whether it's one of them or neither of them!

Yay for Idina! Yay for Kristin! My heart's going to be torn on Tony night. I love Kristin, but, in my heart, I'm still rooting for Idina!
Edit: In my mind, I wish it could be both of them. They both deserve it so much! It's good though, that they are really really good friends, so they can console each other either way. I'm thinking at least one of them will get best actress...I don't think anyone else measures up to them.

Well, of course we don't think anyone else measures up to them, but its not up to us who wins. I'm really hoping for Idina, but I'm not that optimistic right now.

About her cd: Colony has it for only about 20. Idina handed them copies herself because there was such a demand for it. But since we're on the subject of Tonys, Idina, hands down, end of discussion!

Idina is one of the best performers on Broadway i think..
she has the most amazing voice, i get chills when i hear it on the CD
she definitly deserves the Tony!! even though its a close tie between her and Kristin i think she deserves it more
Idina is definitly my IDOL ;D

In response the the question about whether Idina has siblings or not, the answer is yes, she does have a sister named Cara. Got it off of Broadway.com!

How have I not seen these before? Jeez I'm so ashamed! I thought I had seen everything Wicked-related on bwaydcom. These pics are great! Ooooh Ron Rifkin. And ANTHONY RAPP!! Stephen Oremus is sooooo hot. And whew, Idina and her sis and mom? Very good genes there ;D Ooooh Brian Stokes Mitchell.

omg..quick [ill try to make it quick] story...on my way home from school today i kept thinking how i wrote Idina a letter about 1 month ago and i was just wondering if she would respond...i was thinking about it the whole way home and just wondering if she would have the time or if my letter was good enough to receieve anything back..
i walked in the door and on the counter is an envelope from the Gershwin...so im starting to flip out ALOT...and im getting really excited..and my heart is like pounding [llam have to add in the effects to make it dramatic] so i open it up and im SOOO excited...like i cant even describe how excited i was...
and i saw it and i was the happiest person in this whole world...its a picture of Idina singing "The Wizard and I" and it says "To Courtney, thanks for the letter! Much love, Idina Menzel!!!!! and of course its not the biggest thing in the world but to me it felt like it!! i was soo happy i told liek every single one of my friends..even the ones who dont even know what wicked is!
sorry if you dont appriciate the story..hah..i just HAD to tell it..i was in the moment and i am just so happy that she even took the time to write her name on a picture and have it mailed back! that means so much to me considering i never got to meet her at the stage door!! wow Idina seriously ROCKS my world ;D
