Ok, so if you go to broadwaybeat.com and watch the March 10th video, they show Idina's performance at Nothing Like a Dame about 4 minutes and 5 seconds into the program. Hint to those who have trouble getting the bway beat videos to load...try them on the weekends. I have cable internet, so that might speed up things for me, but I find when i watch these videos on the weekend, they hardly ever stop to "Communicate" ;o) Rachel p.s. I was looking at their programming guide and it seems that every year they have an episode about the Drama League Awards...so maybe we'll all get to see Kristin hosting them when that video comes out  |

Of course my freaking computer would pull this unable to connect to server crap with me. I'm unamused. HIGHLY unamused. I'm going to try to update my real player and see if that helps....is it the whole performance or only a clip?

it's pretty much the whole thing... sounds like they edited a stanza out of the song for the show, but they show her performance from beginning to end really Rachel good luck!  I only have luck with those streaming videos on my computer with a cable modem...but I do have the new free version of RealPlayer, so that might help too. |

Updating helped...i saw it. Amazing, but what else is new? She rocked, and it was so fun to see her do it not green. And it so looked like having the mic was limiting her...but she rocked nonetheless

It's always amazing to hear her sing that song. I noticed that she had to pull the mike away from her mouth so that she could belt a little more.

It's so weird seeing her sing that song without her green makeup, but she does all the facial expressions and some of the gestures as though she's performing the role.

I don't think she can not to the gestures and expressions when she sings! hehe She did them on the Broadway on Broadway thing as well.

It definitely is different seeing her do the facial expressions minus the makeup, but when you do something so often, it's practically impossible to change your routine

I love that she was lit green at the end, it added to the overall effect.
Here's a tip for people who have problems with the vid loading...if it's at all possible for you to remain online/leave your comp running for 6 hours/overnight, mute the sound on your comp, minimize the window, but elt the video run. It'll get all the kinks out while you sleep and when you wake up, there's a glitch free video for you to watch while you eat your cocoa puffs!
