Idina was sooooooo good omg...me and cait were like flipping out though that they didnt show her AT ALL! we were more excited to actually see her than hear her..haha...but she was still beyond amazing..i had no clue it was pre-recorded.. ughh and eye-dina...if theyre going to announce someones name on national television they should at least get it right! geez...llam..poor dee llam "should get it right" lol i agree lol the song did sound amazing though...  i was soo happy!! |

when it was over, my dad goes, oh, your girl wasn't on it....I turn to him like "what?! yes she was, she sang that song..." *sigh* silly ignorant father...

Okay, lemme get this straight. That actually WAS Idina singing at the Macy's concert fireworks thingy tonight? Idina? Singing on channel 6? NBC? IDINA?!?! Dear Sweet Oz. Mom and I were watching Music Man so we were in a Wicked-kinda mindset, and we switch to NBC to hear the song during the fireworks show, and I'm thinking to myself 'whoa, this chick singing sounds like Dee' and then my mom says "hey, this sounds like Eye-dina!" And I actually said to her 'yeah, it kinda does. But it can't be her. It can't be her because I would've heard something.' THAT'S WHAT I GET FOR NOT CHECKING THE BOARD ALL DAY!!!! Freakin' work. I'm soooooo bummed right now. I feel like the worst Idina fan ever. I told myself it wasn't her and didn't even think anymore about it!! How rotten am I?  |

Today before the show, I went to the stagedoor and Idina was back!!! She looks like she had a Wonderful (No pun intended!  ) time in Africa---wow---her tan was a Little too extreme though. I have bad, Upsetting news for Idina fans. We got into a little bit of a catfight---we're having a family feud. A fight arrupted and I lost my temper....and Kristi had to break it up. Even Butz hopped in, and Michele Federer busted out of that place because she didn't want her face to be Publicized. Don't want to mess with that cat---shes got one type of attitiude! She needs an Adjustment. Okay, for the record, this did NOT happen today. I was there before the show (because I was on my way in to work and talking with my coworkers, not because I was preshowing), and Idina was in long before Kristin showed up so there was no way it COULD have happened. Also, please don't call her Kristi on the board - her stage name is Kristin, so that's what we call her here. And I'd just like to take a moment to repost a couple of the rules just so everybody sees them: 10) Discussion of the actors private lives, backstage gossip, rumors ect are strictly PROHIBITED. That means NO. If it’s been posted somewhere credible like playbill.com or broadway.com then it’s fine. But if your third cousin twice removed heard it from his girlfriend’s sister’s ex boyfriend who is a stage hand…no. Just…no. 13)We expect that our board members will be truthful, whether they are discussing show bloopers, cast events, stage door experiences, or just life in general. If we feel a statment is dishonest, we will do our best to find out the truth of the situation, and ensure that everything on the board be as factual as possible. However, this is up to the discretion of the BoZ, and if you feel someone is falsifying information on the board, please deal with us via PM or IM, not the board itself, and we will look into the problem. Okay back to the fireworks...yeah that was Idina. She sounded really good but they pronounced her name wrong, again! I mean nobody will care or anything, but still, it's just something I wish they would fix you know. And how did you not hear anything about it, it's been the sole focus of many yahoogroups for the past week. Awww...and you're not rotten, she forgives you I'm sure!

I haven't been on the yahoogroups Awwwwww, and I'm a member of lots of them too! Baaaaaaaad Mon. That Eye-dina thing must get annoying. EVERYBODY pronounces my last name wrong- teachers, coworkers, people I thought were friends - and I know it drives me insane. And for an announcer to mispronounce your name on a live nationwide event like that... wow. But I'm sure she's used to it by now... sigh... |

Hunni, my story was in no way a lie. What right do you have to tell me my family issues are incorrect? And you are acting hypocritical in many ways. You seem to visit the stagedoor before the show quite frequently and then you go out posting on the board not to do so. What a BoZ you are!

How rotten am I? since we went over how much you're not rotten in the wee hours on this morning...I will not repeat... but anyhow, I rewatched the telecast and it's so good...her singing....just love it! wonder if she watched the telecast at all and did some eyerolling at the announcer |

at the end of when idinas singing summer sky...theres this one part where she goes up and then comes back down.. reminds me of defying gravity..llam

Idina sounded amazing!!! I just had this huge stupid goofy smile on my face the entire time... I mean, the only time I had heard her singing recently was on the Wicked CD, but I hadn't heard her live in over a month so... I was very happy lols. Idina was so great!! And how sexy is Adam Pascal's voice.... ahhhh he's awesome lol.

I was actually having a conversation with my friend about how weird it would be if Idina and Adam were just sitting there during the fireworks trying to litsen to them sing...they probably would of had a really hard time seeing as the fireworks were very loud and so were the people. But I bet they probably have tapes of them singing minus the fireworks, so they're a step up from us.

Actually it probably is only a small blow to her now because it's always pronounced wrong on national television...there's probably a fan club for Eyedina Menzelle out there....those poor poor souls
