I am so happy for Dee! My jaw dropped when they said Idina had won. I couldn't scream as loud as I wanted to b/c my parents were asleep. And the Cheno was like a proud parent and she looked like she had won the award. I am so happy!

i'm still really happy for her. when renee announced her name i screamed so loud than jumped up and down screaming 'she won she won!' this is so awesome.

Me and my friends were holding hands SOO tightly too haha...we were SOO nervous..i had the worst feeling that Tonya was going to win..when they said Idina i just screamed sooo loud!!! and i started like going carzy running around and screaming and hypervelntalating...and i was like rolling on the floor..haha i was SOO happy!!!!!! and then my mom came up stairs and started yelling because my brothers were sleeping..but i didnt care i was soo happy
and her speech was sooo sweet..i was soooo happy for her! she deserved that so much and im just so happy for her..
YA IDINA! YOU ROCK

omg Idina rocks!! i love how she said stuff about Kristin that was so sweet! There is gonna be no hatred there! and her beautiful, beautiful husband, TAYE!! and by no means is Idina a loser!! She's an idol!! ;D i <3 Idina!!

I know! During her speech when she was like, "And my beautiful husband Taye for telling me he loves me when I think I'm the biggest loser" OMUG! How could she think that! When she said it, I literally shouted, "NO YOU'RE NOT IDINA!" Haha. My dad was like to my mom, "She's officially gone crazy. She's talking to Idina Menzel's picture on the TV." Hahaha.

thank the unnamed god that idina won!!!!!!!!!!!! im SOOOO incredibley happy for her and she deserved it 100%. me, court, nd robin were SO nervous...we were screaming, jumping and hyperventilating when we heard her name!! i felt like I had won the tony...that's how happy i was! idina's absolutely amazing and her acceptance speech made me have no doubts in my mind that shes so genuine and sweet and she acknowledged kristin so nicely it was just so nice!! congragulations idina we love u SOOOOO much!!!!!!!!

dee deserves that awards 10000000000% definitely. i have to admit, i was thinking that tonya pinkins was going to win (even though her performance was terrible in my own opinion), and as soon as i saw renee zellweger come out, i grabbed my friends hand and was trembling. when they announced idina's name, i basically died. i didnt scream or anything, i had a silent seizure, then the tears came pouring out. i am still emotionally drained from it, and whenever i watch her acceptance speech, i get a little teary eyed. what she said about kristin was so sweet, and she didnt have to say it. our little dee is so humble. omg when i saw taye crying, it touched me so much. they are so in love....le sigh
i am so proud of our girl dee! I LOVE YOU IDINA!!!!

If I had been able to scream without my mom yelling "Turn the Tonys off and study!" I would've screamed, and my brother can vouch for that one. I was like "Ohh, I'm so happy! Idina won! Oh, YES!" I was literally bouncing up and down with happiness. And Dee looked so happy herself! I thought it was so cute when she was like stuttering - "and, and, and, and.." llam I was like I LOVE YOU DEE! and then when she mentioned Taye - she thinks she's a big loser sometimes? awww <3 IDINA! It when it showed Taye crying I thought that was so cute.  Wow, this was a stupid post that could be summed up in about 4 words: I LOVE IDINA MENZEL! I just found about 9 ways to say it, llam. |

I had some friends over at my house nad I was totally crying when Idina won. I just couldn't believe it! No one could deserve it more! We went running down the road yelling for Idina and made some mortal enemies of my neighbors haha but that's ok! Because Idina WON!!!!

GOOOO DEE. i was over gypsy's house with jeni (defygravity530) and we were holdingf hands chanting idinaidinaidina... and when they anouced we screamed on the top of our lungs. gypsys parents caae downstairs saying they heard us and that they were so happy. Dee reaction was so genunine and everyone was crying taye idina and even kristin. i love her speech and i'm never gonna tape over it. i love how she thanked kristin first. we thought idina was gonna forget taye b/c she thanked him last we kept yelling at the tv thank Taye but she made up for it by the sweet things she said to him. and yes i did yell at the tv too when she said she thought she was a looser.

All of your reactions are so fun to read! Kerri (Kerphaba) was over and we both curled up in a little ball on the couch soooo nervous. We were scared (because all the media was saying) that Kristin and Idina would cancel eachother out... BUT NO WAY! THE PUBLIC KNOWS TALENT!!!!!!!!!!We jumped up screaming, hugging and bouncing around my basement. I couldn't contain myself and then after my heart was pounding (Kerri can back me up on that one  ) All day in school I was so happy, and everyone knew to come talk to me about her winning... when they asked if i saw it i looked at them like they were crazy... i was like "yea i did, and she totally won!!" I practically memorized her incredible speech and i've watched the Defying Gravity perfomance almost 20 times so far... more to come!! Her and Kristin are both my idols. My dream is to be on Broadway, and watching them both last night was a honor (if that doesnt sound too cheesy). I look up to, and hope to be like both of them some day. CONGRATS IDINA.
