Of course, in writing that, I realized that Elphie and Yero's relationship isn't the nicest either...because Elphie does kinda steal Yero from her best friend...but he was willing, so they are both faulted...and it's just so damn cute, so how could we hate it ?

Okay, I totally agree with the whole Danny/Sandy thing. I mean, how can that movie be PG - it sends out such bad messages about dating! I bet they would've broken up an hour after the movie ended. And the Elphaba/Fiyero thing was so sweet, cuz Elph finally got loved, so I can forgive the whole stealing from Glinda thing.

Marian and Harold- the music man.


Such a clasic romance progression.... they start off with him being into her and her being appauled by him and end off with her forsaking her town, and original intentions and falling for him. I love the scene on the foot bridge when they sing "till there was you" and marian says " I originaly tore this page out of the book to use against you, but now I give it to you will all of my heart" (awwwwwwwww) and then there is what i think is the most agressive female initiated kiss out of all musicals. And then they sing " there was love all around..." and marian does the descant and you can tell that she really does love harold hill....... that part gives me goose bumps every time.... seeing and performing.

I never thought of that one before. I think the relationship between Lumiere and Babette is a great onstage romance. Especially when it continues offstage...(think Patrick Page and Paige Davis)
