Ok, if anyone's read my posts they'll know about this performance that I'm in called "Broadway Night." It's where we perform any song from any musical. And this year, it's been made into 3 hours instead of the usual 2. So we can have more numbers. Now, we started putting down ideas on Friday. But I know most of those won't work and we'll need more. And we're having a meeting at my house on Wednesday. This is what we've got: Solo's: Men- One Song Glory- "Rent" I Don't Care Much- "Cabaret" All I Care About- "Chicago" First Transformation- "Jeckyll & Hyde" Were Thine That Special Face- "Kiss Me Kate" Why God Why- "Miss Saigon" Ya Got Trouble- "The Music Man" Women- Out Tonight- "Rent" I Know the Truth- "Aida" I'm Not That Girl- "Wicked" I Dreamed a Dream- "Les Mis" Think of Me- "Phantom of the Opera" Goodnight, My Someone- "The Music Man" Always True to You (In My Fashion)- "Kiss Me Kate" Duos/Trios Etc: Not Me- "Aida" For Good- "Wicked" Till There Was You- "The Music Man" We Can Do It- "The Producers" Another Day- "Rent" Full Cast: You Can't Stop the Beat- "Hairspray" Seasons of Love- "Rent" Shipoopi- "The Music Man" Anything Goes- "Anything Goes" Footloose- "Footloose" Spoof: This year the major musical was "The Scarlet Pimpernel." So, we'll be spoofing a few numbers from that. Ok, there needs to be 10 songs in each category. So we need 3 more for the Men and Women and 5 more for Duos/Trios Etc. and full-cast. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you in advance.
