Vaughn and Syd (and maybe Jack and Sloane) are the only safe bets for They Who Will Never Really Die. Weiss, Marshall, Dix, Lauren...all up for the Grim Reaper's grab.

she said that to the audience so i dono maybe they're having a special guest star?? I wonder who!!

I wonder who!! I always thought ER was the best show on TV for famous guest stars but Alias is quickly becoming the best show for the greatest guest stars I mean, come on- Quentin Tarantino, David Carradine, Isabella Rossellini? Awesome! But if Jen Garner said it was someone the audience would know, maybe it will be LENA OLIN!!! That would totally rock

I know it's like torture! But watching the old seasons over again while waiting for new eps is really fun because it's amazing to see how the show has evolved. I mean, it's great watching the first episodes and Syd has no clue who Rambaldi is ;D ;D

SOmehow I think she's gonna show up only if her salary rivals that of the "Friends" cast members.

Well, I was just surfing The Safe House (www.vartanho.com) and I saw this little tidbit and freaked: No "Alias" until 2005 Most of you have probably heard the ABC announcement from the Upfronts by now: "Alias" won't return to its Sunday timeslot until midseason. They're going to premiere their new drama "Desperate Housewives" in the fall instead, with Alias replacing it come January 2005. Then "Alias" will get a run of 20 consecutive episodes, finishing the season without any pre-emptions or repeats.
WHAT IS THIS?!?!? I cannot survive a year without Alias until midseason...and what's with the whole premiereing new series in old series' timeslots. Why can't they just stick it on some other day instead of just waiting till midseason? Alias might not get the best ratings, but it's got some extremely loyal devoted fans. Grrrrr. This is gonna be one tough year.
But on the other side, it will give them time to plan an awesome fourth season and it will run rerun free so we won't have to deal with the whole "on two weeks off the next three" schedule that's quite annoying.
But still. Waiting till January to see the premiere? No good, no good. My sunday nights will be so empty until 2005.

Okay I TOTALLY didn't understand what happened at the end? Is Syd a genetic experiment gone bad? WHAT THE HECK!? Could someone explain it to me? I loved how Syd tricked Sark though, that was impressive.

I don't even know what the heck is going on at the end. That's basically the cliffhanger.
But all in all, good episode. A fitting end for this not-so-wonderful season.
I was shedding tears when I thought they killed Vaughn. And the whole fight between Lauren and Syd paled in comparison to last season's finale Best Girl Fight Ever between Evil Francie and Syd. Love love loved the Syd Vaughn kissage. Those two were meant to be together. And I'm dying to know if my Marshy is okay...no killage of Marshy. That guy is like my homeboy.
If you taped it and want to go back and rewatch for cool little details, watch the first scene with the Lauren as Syd thing. You can totally tell it's Lauren--from the trademark heavy black eyeliner to the way she walks. And when Syd is tricking Sark, she's got hazel eyes. Lauren has blue eyes. Interesting little tidbits.
"Hi honey." That has to be the best line of the season. It even beats out Weiss Spice Girls line.
Ding dong the Witch is dead. Which old witch? The LAUREN witch! Let us rejoice...
Is it just me or did Micheal Vartan look especially devastating tonight? Especially in the blue shirt. They (as in the Alias dressers) always dress him in blue when they want him to be extra sexy. Oooh, how I love that man.
Am not a fan of this Bad Jackness. I love Jack. I think he and Syd finally had this relationship, and now it's all up in the air. I love how this show really focuses on parental relationships. I mean, two of the season finale cliffhangers have involved the parents. Season 1's was the whole "Meet Irina" thing, and now Season 3's involves Jack as potential bad guy who did who knows what to Syd. That's scary.
I really don't want to have to wait until 2005 for the next episode. Here's to the end of this less than stellar season and the hope that Season 4 will be more like Season 1 and less like Season 3!
