Yeah, because I'm in "Oklahoma!" in my school production, I'll give it a shot... and I apologize if I can't do it, even though I'm not on any medication, I am tired as hell lol.

haha this is gona be weird but : Seussical!! ... Sour Kangaroo: Idina Menzel for her belt!! Idina as Sour Kangaroo? NO! Idina is too amazing to be wasted on a role like that. I don't think Idina fits into Seussical. Also, for ITW I don't think Idina should be the Witch. Baker's Wife is a much better role - plus Idina's had her fill of Witches. Idina won't get into No One Is Alone because Cinderella isn't a belting role and she's definately not Little Red. And besides, my favorite song is Moments in the Woods (that's the Baker's Wife's song - Any Moment is Cindy's Prince's.) |

I agree on it all but here's what I think...I think that Michelle should be Sandy. I don't know where Cheno would fit in but remember, they don't all fit for all musicals...but I like Michelle as Sandy.
About Into the Woods...yes Idina would make a good Baker's Wife....I still think the Witch would be funny...but the whole affiar thing, especially with Norbert as a prince....ha!

Mrs. Darling: Carole Shelley [pauses briefly to think of characters] *I suppose there would be a large number of children cast so I'll just throw me in there for fun  * John: Me! um...yeah, thats about it oh yeah, p.s. I was originally gonna cast To Kill a Mockingbird (new obsession, dont ask...but its still not a musical) but it was just weird. I can see Joel Grey as Mr. Smee, but not Mr. Darling. He's definately "lovable." I see Norbert as Mr. Darling. However, I cannot see Norbert as Captain Hook, even though if he does Mr. Darling traditionally he's Hook as well.

Yeah, I was at a bit of a loss for casting choices...that's why Idina is Tiger Lily. She so needs a bigger part than that, but it's still a decent role.

Okay so I've cast this hypothetically so many times and I think we are soooo forgetting something very serious...Idina would make a perfect Witch...this is not type casting, this is good casting. |
