hm i've never seen avenue Q but i REALLLY want to. ive heard amazing things *'your mamas puppets dont harmonize like this'-the one and only maria..oh how cool you are  * i think its really impressive that a show based around puppets has become so popular...it must be amazing..hm...ive got to see it one of these days |

JT better win the Tony!! He is so talented! I call him JT because I hate Justin Timberlake and I replaced his initials with JT for John Tartaglia!! lol

no...in his concert he had glittering letters that read 'JT'...he likes that name also. Lol, I love how everybody has their own name for him...jtart, john tartag (me!), johnny t, tartaglahmonsta, JT...it goes on and on!

OMG and I used to have a turtle named tartag when I was like 5..but I killed it..its a long story..but that is so so kewl that you call him that!! haha

My favorite song is "Fine Fine Line." I am like, in LOVE with this song. Especially the part where Steph belts. "And I don't have the time to waste on you anymore! *drums* I don't think that you even knoowwww what you're looking forrrrr!" Heh. I love this song. I need Avenue Q karaoke! Oh, and Maria... LOL. ElphabaRox is my sister. If you sent her the CD we'd have two of every song on the computer. LOL. Not to worry, she's heard the songs... I'm good at sharing. |

"Fine Fine Line" is just a really really awesome song in general. Steph belts like no other on it, and it's a great song that you could take out of context of the show and sing it somewhere and it would still have a really relateable message and work really well.
Speaking of seeing the Q, anybody gone and stagedoored? Does Tartagmonstaahh usually do the stagedoor, cuz I sorta have this plan to make a puppet version of himself and give it to him when I this June, and I want to see his reaction to it (which I'm hoping will be on the side of "wow, this person is really cool and funny and creative to have made this" and leaning less toward the "oh my god I've got a stalker fan freak who makes puppet versions of myself). Tartagmonstahh needs to win the Tony. Simple as that.
Random thought: Anybody know how you can get your hands upon some of those wonderful campaign buttons they've got going now? Cuz I really really really like those. And I want to get one (or two...or three...or a lot) to add to my patched/buttoned jean jacket.
I'm so happy to see that there's lots of Q love on these boards! Yay for Puppets!

1) I know people who've said Tartag comes out...just wait outside the huge opening which is where all 3 of the stagedoors for the Royale, Golden Theater, and some other one have their stagedoors. Wait out there pretty close to when the show lets out (seeing as they have like no costumes) and you should be able to catch him. You MUST take pictures of your puppet! You know I am supporting you 100% on this! Also, if you do decide to make a card...lol
2) To get the buttons simply ask an usher for them while they're smoking....they do give them out...and if you get one, get one for me!
OMG I love Fine Fine Line. Stephie rocks my socks then sooo much. The belting the acting....I just HAVE to see it! Another great one is Special and For Now...it just makes me sooo sad/happy in a good way!

Ive recently become obsessed with "I Wish I could go Back to College" JT's voice is sooo awsome in that song and I melt everytime he does his "ahhh ahh ahh ahhh ahh I wish I could drop a class" I love his "ahhhs" lol and also when he sais "and think OMG I am totally gona go FAARR!!" *sigh* Im gona marry JT..

I would LOVE to marry johnny but I think I am going to have to respect his decision to be gay. I'll be his flower girl though! lol
OOh and I Wish I Could Go Back to College is my FAVORITE song on the whole CD!!!!!! I love the harmonies and Johnny's voice and Stephie's voice...they're just sooo amazing!

Its the exact opposite..I have to tell my mom I'm going to see Avenue Q to get into Wicked...she doesnt mind me seeing any other show besides Wicked. She thinks I've had my full share of Wicked the past few months..My plan is to tell her I'm seeing Avenue Q just to get into Wicked! llam [also, she doesnt know much about Avenue Q..hopefully she'll never find out so I can see it whenever I want!! hehe] I havent seen Avenue Q yet but I REALLY want to..In the beginning of the year, my friend and I went to this show... it was the "Group Rates" show thing where they do 2 numbers from a group of Broadway shows that are out because my friends mom had free tickets...and Avenue Q did "It Sucks to be Me" and 1 other number..it was soooo hysterical!! I def have to try to see this and especially before the OBC leaves because of all the good comments you're leaving about them!!  [OTness sry...Wicked did The Wizard and I and For Good...I think Eden and LBB went on but im not sure because it was way before I knew much about Wicked and stuff...Wicked had just come out like less than a month ago..did anyone go to this?] |
