OMUG, I just realized who Megan Mulally was, and YES, she would be a HALARIOUS replacement for Stephanie. But I love Stephanie too much to think about a replacement for her. But she leaves the show July 4th, doesn't she? Or I read that...somewhere. A while ago. So I don't know if she extended her contract or not.

The July 4th thing was a rumor people started spreading. I believe they both are in through September with the option to renew and I think John is taking it....I haven't heard anything about Stephanie though.

I know Joy already asked, but DID anyone see the performance on Regis and Kelly's Broadway Week? They did "I Wish I Could Go Back to College." It was incredibly cute. Steph messed up the first line because she couldn't hear the beginning or something..she sang, "I wish I could go back to college..... then." It confused me, but she explained later. LOL.
Then John and Steph came out with Regis and Kelly puppets. John had the greatest Regis voice. Steph kept flipping the puppet's hair & did a model walk for everyone. I ruv them.

I'm very sad I missed it. I love love LOVE the harmony on "I Wish I Could Go Back To College", especially when they go into, "We could be sitting in the computer lab..."; the first time I heard that I was like, "WOW THAT WAS SO AWESOME." And I can see the Tartag doing Regis, and Stephanie can do the cute hair flipping thing like she's probably done with Lucy.

Besides Fine, Fine Line it's my favorite song on the CD. I just love it...there's just something about it that hits me, touches me, and strikes me. I've never been to college, but I still love it!

OMUG, me too! I LOVE "Fine, Fine Line", but "I Wish I Could Go Back To College" is my other fave. Besides, it's getting really sappy, and then Princeton just throws in the line about his T.A., and you're just brought back to the fact that it's Avenue Q, and before they get too touching, they need to remind you that you came to laugh AND cry.

Lol yeah... I wish I had watched it too... it sounds great. And the harmony is so amazing, dso, I LOVE it!!! Becca told me that she was listening to Q in the car with her mom and Princeton said his T.A. line and her mom was all aghast and like, "What?!! We never did that in college!!" LLAMOC!

Well obiously she hasn't gone to college recently. Right, I so know what you're saying. Avenue Q kinda does that....except some songs really are genuine without any dirty things that make us laugh. The number is few, but those genuine ones, or patrially genuine ones are the ones that touch us the most.

I do love the fact that "The More You Ruv Someone" is an attempt at being sentimental, and there's no bad words in it. Even though the song starts out, "The more you ruv someone, the more you want to kill them." Because that's usually true. That's one thing I give an EXTREME amount of credit to Avenue Q for, is they are a very true show. "The Internet is For Porn" is a great example. People think that's funny, but Trekkie's right, and when they bring out all the "normal people", I just crack up!
And "Fine, Fine Line" is very genuine and sentimental. It's hard to see a piece like that after sitting through a halarious first act, because it's so sad, and it gets to a lot of people because you understand what Kate's going through.

Letty, the way you typed the OWWAHOOOAAAAHH!! made me laugh. But I know what you're talking about. And I love that, too. Just like in "Purpose" when he says, "Ba ba ba ba, doo doo doo doo doo," I'm like, "OH MY GOD THAT WAS SO HOT!"
