The other thread reached ten pages, so it's been sent to that happy land of no more posts! I've started this new one for you all to come discuss the random times that Wicked shows up in your lives...
I'll start. I don't have any recent ones...next! LLAM.

Oh, I have one! My friends Charlotte (BIIIG "Wicked" fan), Michele and I were in DSW today and we saw a really cute pink purse. Charlotte and I both squealed when we saw it. So she picked it up and we saw that it came with matching shoes. So she says "Taye (me), we SO need to get these for Michele. She'll be Galindafied!" We were both smiling and giggling and she was looking at us like we were nuts (she's never seen "Wicked" before). It was really funny. We actually wound up buying the items. Along with many others. Oh yeah, I forgot. We went into Contempo and I saw this adorable black skirt with pink flowers on it and I tried it on. So I walk out and Charlotte says "Oooo that looks good on you. See! You deserve each other! We have so many "Wicked" moments.

I was trying on a skirt and a top yesterday when I was shopping and the top was black & the skirt pink and black. The first thing that popped into my head? "You know, black is this year's pink!"

This week was my high school state Thespian competition and I went to visit them (I'm in college now). Somehow, I alway seemed to end up wearing black and pink. I wanted to say, "You know, black is this year's pink" because so many people were wearing black, but nobody at my old high school knows Wicked. I also saw a thespian troupe that had their shirts with Wicked all over it. It said Wicked Theater and Defying Gravity on the back. It kinda of made me mad cause they were using Wicked on their shirts, but what really made me made was that at least 5 people were singing "The Wizard and I", and the sheet music isn't even out yet! Sorry, but I think that's just wrong and rude to the composers. Also, at the closing ceremonies, the Wicked CD was playing as we all waited for it to start, and I was singing my heart out while people were giving me weird looks.

Lol I've corrected old people (an old couple) because we were in Wicked and they were talking about how it sounded like Idina had had some classical training...also they said her name wrong...

Oh, I have a good one. I saw one of my best friends (who lives in Manhattan), who I haven't seen in like 4 months. We bumped into each other and she said "Oh my God, Taye I haven't seen you in so long!" And I said, jokingly, "Yes, it's good to see me isn't it?" And she says (I really wasn't expecting this) "Hey, is that a rhetorical question?" So I ask " 'Wicked' fan?" And she yells "Yes!" We started laughing. So yay for another "Wicked" fan!
Another one, when I was on the subway with my boyfriend earlier today this man walked on with a horribly bright orange shirt. So he said, "Wow, that shirt is BRIGHT!" So, right on cue, I said, "Bright? It's phosephorescent!"
I have "Wicked" moments all the time!

Today my professor said hoi polloi!!! So of course I whispered to my friend "I wanna be in this hoi polloi"...It was very exciting; you don't hear that phrase too often.

I was in creative writing today, and I was completly zoned out, and my teacher was reading a story. Then, I hear the phrase "she felt something new...complete loathing." It completly woke me up, and i started to sing the song, and realized that it was not the wicked script my teacher was reading, and no one really got what i was singing. but i liked it! and now whenever someone calls me evil (jokingly, of course)...i reply with "I'm wicked through and through"

I have a "Wicked" moment and a Cheno moment.
Ok, so yesterday my cousin (also a "Wicked" fan. I swear, practically everyone I know loves "Wicked.") and I were running in Central Park (it was a gorgeous day yesterday. I loved it) and we stopped for a few minutes to get a water and we overheard a girl say something like "Oh my God, I had the strangest dream last night." And she described it and the other girl said "Wow!" then the the girl said "I know, doesn't that sound really crazy?" So my cousin and I giggled and started to run again; and of course we were singing "The Wizard and I." It was so much fun.
And my Cheno moment: I was talking to my friend on the phone and she was talking about her stupid boyfriend (I really don't like him). She kept on going on and on and I finally really listened and she said this "So I said to him, that's what you think!" So I sang "And that's my new philosophy." She was just like "Huh?" It was really funny. But you had to be there.

I have Wicked moments practically every single second!! My dad was eating mint ice cream and I'm like "Aaah! Green food! Green is good! I love green!" and my dad's like "OMG shut up!!" haha.
Also, yesterday I was at rehearsal for my show and the choreographer was trying to explain how to do a dance move to this girl, she was like "You have to kind of bend your knees, kind of sag them. Pretend you're melting." I kind of jumped in the air and did a Cheno-esque squeal (EEE!) and everyone gave me odd looks.
