Everyone's going to this, right? It's on August 19th at 12:30. You can't pass up your first chance to see the first performance from the cast of this show before it even opens. And it's FREE! And believe me, they've defiantely got an amazing cast. The entire show has only 5 amazing cast members, and it's a show full of incredible stuff you won't want to miss. Did I mention it's free? I hope I'll see you there!

planning on going to that one and the one on the 12th (I was sick last Thursday and missed the Wicked performance  )...but I want to get to these other two. So now it's just a question of whether or not my friend is going to bale on me AGAIN b/c her mother doesn't like her going to NYC with all the terror reports. Ugh! Rachel |

I trust there will be some :coughreadblacktext: RECORDING:cough: going on for those of us who live in the freakin wastelands of the north and can't make it! I've been DYING to learn what this show's about and hear some stuff but so far I know NOTHING! And it's driving me nuts! So yeah everyone have a reeeeally good time and bring me back some presents. I like music-related gifts, like possibly :coughblacktext: songfiles!!:cough:

It won't be illegal to record at the concert, so there's no need for any black text here. It's an open concert and it's entirely free, so they won't be checking for anything. Don't worry, we'll hook you up!  |

yes, PLEASE someone record some of it because I'm going to be in Florida  and I would have loved to have gone..I'm really excited for Brooklyn to come out and I hope somebody will record some clips so we can all have a preview |

Okay, I don't understand 'Broadway in Bryant Park'. How long does it run? Do shows take place there every day? Does every show on Broadway perform something? How often to they let indivdual artists like Idina perform? (like was that a strange occurance or do lots of solo artists perform their own stuff?)

Idina got to sing her song because some of the Wicked cast members made up a dance to it, and it was performed on Bryant Park's special 'Dancing For Life' show. That day was no individual shows performing, but a bunch of dancers from all different shows dancing. ^_^
Every thursday, every summer, shows from Broadway come to the park and perform some of their songs. It's a free, afternoon concert so all the sars can get to do theirs shows. It's nothing formal, just afternoon fun.

a) cares
b) doesn't mind hearing it again
c) doesn't like to read things and this is the first time they're hearing it
The shows going on that day will be
1) Rent
2) Bare
3) Brooklyn
4) Surprise me as far as I care...the rest are good enough...I think it's De La Gaurdia.
