Did anyone else go? It was so cool! Sure I waited an hour and a half, but I MET THE CAST and got a FREE CD!!!! It was awesome, my mom had made me a bag with the DRS playbill pic on it a while back, and I brought it, and Greg Jbara was like "Wow! THat's so cool!" and then Sara G. and Norbert (AHH!) look at it and are like "Oh how cute!" (not in those exact words, but u get the jist of it). Sherie was really sick though, and David Y. was comforting her, and Joanna and John I didn't get a chance to talk to because they were at the end of the line, and the people behind me were looking anxious. But I still had a conversation with Norbert, Sara, and Greg!!! Greg, especially, was an absolute sweetheart! Here is a pic of how crowded it was. www.broadway.com/Gen/Buzz_Photo_op.aspx?ci=511074

I went to the DRS giveaway. I got there at about 9:40 a.m and there was about 20 people in front of me. It was really cool to actually meet the cast. I took some really awful pics of them signing the CD. When I left the line was all the way to 8th Ave.!!!! It was a crazy turnout! After that I went to go see "SHOW Business" at the Tribeca Film Festival. If you haven't heard of it it is a documentary following the productions of Avenue Q, Wicked, Taboo, and Caroline, or Change from workshops to the Tony Awards. It was a great documentary, if you get a chance to see it check it out. It had great clips from Wicked.

Not that I'm anywhere near NYC, but perhaps I could've sent someone in my stead...

If you really want it you can get it on eBay for like $13. A lot of people got it solely for that purpose - to sell it. It's worth it, though, in my opinion. BUt I'm in love with the show, and thats why. I am now obsessed with Love is My Legs. Even though all teh songs are funnier live they're still hilarious

Meh...I wish I could have gone to the giveaway, but when asking my dad he said, and I quote: "I am not driving for three hours just to go to the Imperial three days after we saw Dirty Rotten Scoundrels"

Ah, that stinks. But, I mean, the real cd comes out in about 2 weeks, so thats good I only went cause I BEGGED my dad, and he only agreed because he liked it when we saw it about a month and a half ago and also I got really good grades on my report card. Plus we only live about 45 minutes from the city, so it was alright

I wish we could have gone, but I guess I can wait and get the CD. hehe. Or go on eBay.

It was insanely crazy!!! I was at the folding point of the line, and I cannot tell you how many people came up behind me and I had to tell them the end of teh line was WAY down the other way. All of them were quite angry, probably because they knew this and wanted to cut it.lol, jk. Well, sort of. Anyways, its good enough that it's worth either the wait or the price on ebay! I totally recommend it!
