Hi everyone. I searched but didn't find a thread on this. I just got back from an Orchestra trip to NYC. I saw Phantom there (and it was amazing). Anyway, they had an ad in the Playbill that caught my eye. People are trying to replace live musicians with virtual orchestra machines. Here is more info on the issue:

I hope you'd agree that virtual music should not be tolerated, especially on Broadway. Just think of how many jobs would be lost-- not to mention the quality and magic of Broadway.
As a harpist who hopes to one day be in the pit orchestras, I hope you will take one minute to sign this petition:
