I haven't seen any of them yet ( ), but I'm seeing Spelling Bee this weekend and I'm praying that the lotto gods of DRS and Spamalot (more DRS, though) are with me and my friend in the meantime...

DEFINITLY DRS! No offence to BRKLYN, just doesn't appeal to me from what I've heard of the music. I feel a bit bad its closing so soon though, as I was a bit disappointed Little Women did(because of Sutton Foster)

The first time I saw it, I hated it, like it was so strange, then I bought the c-d, because I remembered some songs, and loved it. DRS is so good, it should definately win best musical!! ;D

I love DRS and Spamalot, but "Little Women" is great because it's based off of one of the greatest/most popular pieces of American literature ever written. (Wow, you can tell I've worked at a library.) Plus, Sutton is amazing!!!! I haven't seen BKLYN, but it looks really good, and Eden is awesome. But, my vote is definately for "Little Women!!"

Maybe I should give the CD another try...No offence, its just I really don't like Eden's voice. I know this will insult some ppl but its screeching...Anyways, DRS FOR BEST MUSICAL!

I like Eden's voice! But anywaqy... from watchiong the video on bway.com DRS didn't really appeal to me. Except Great Big Stuff But I loved Spelling Bee in it and SpamAlot (which I noiw have the CD for- go buy it, it is HILARIOUS!!!!!) and Forbidden Broadway SVU, I have listened to clipps on amazon.com, and it sounds really funny. Especially "You Gotta Get A Puppet" and "Wickeder" And this is the end of my long rambling post ;D

Adored DRS to tiny little pieces, but I put my vote in for Spelling Bee-- it was so sweet and it had this huge heart, as they say, that DRS lacked.

I have not seen any of these shows (and the way some of them are doing I may not get the chance to see them, with some exceptions of course). However, I voted for Spamalot just because I have heard the cast recording and that is the "plot" that appeals to me, if I were to pick one of the shows to see. I like the "Song that goes like this". Reminds me of "Who's Line is it Anyway".

Well, I've only seen 2 of the listed shows, BKLYN and DRS, but I voted for BKLYN. BKLYN is just so emotional and moving that I had to pick it over DRS. Don't get me wrong, I loved DRS - very, very funny, and I definitely hope it wins Best Musical. But I just enjoyed BKLYN a little more, if only because Eden rules the world whenever she sings Once Upon A Time. ;D

I picked DRS; I'm seeing Spamalot and I think it's funny and all, but DRS has been one of my favorite movies for aeons, and I absolutely adored the musical when I saw it, and my best friend/cousin and I listened to it all this weekend because we love it so much...
...yes, I am obsessive compulsive. ^_^ And proud of it.

I am OBSESSED with the cd of DRS. I own the recording of Spamalot as well, and it has a lot of great talent, but the DRS music just appeals to me a bit more.
