I started the book and read it intermittenly yesterday. I finished it before going to bed. I really liked the book because it was so engrossing. The ending was so sad I had tears welling up in my eyes and a lump in my throat. I could not believe it had happened. I also liked Draco's development and how you get a better idea of what he's like. I think there might be some good in him yet, though. Hated how the ending leaves you wanting the next book. The whole potions textbook thing provides clues as to the HBP's identity, so it is an important part of the book!

It's important to this book's plot, but knowing that Snape (<- Spoiler) is the HBP is not very important for the overall plot. I mean it really helps with Maurader age fan fics, but nothing else, really.

I LOVED THIS BOOK! Lol, I hope this isn't a spoiler, but the romance was the best. HUge R/Hr fan...lol, and the ending was so sad, but hopeful. Its hard writing my opinions without posting some spoilers, so I guess I'll leave it at that until most everyone has read it and we can post some spoilers

Stupid over here let my friend tell me who dies and such, and now I'm really angry with myself. Plus, I read the recent article in Entertainment Weekly and it gives all the stuff from the 6th book...guess I won't be reading that any time soon now...*Le sigh*

I love this book!! I unfourtunatly didn't break my record of reading the book. It was soooo good I had to stop and re-read my favorite chapters. The ending was soo sad(i don't think that's a spoiler because most of the books ending were sad). But we knew it was going to happen anyways. I cannot wait for the next book even though J. K. Rowling isn't going to start writing until the end of this year. To read a really good interview with Jo and two young journalists go to www.mugglenet.com/jkrinterview.shtmlmake sure to read all the parts!!

I finished the book a couple of days ago and while I enjoyed it, I can't say it was one of my favorites in the series. The character who died was the one I'd guessed it would be from the beginning...and I didn't really want the situation for *Snape* to turn out the way it had. I rather like that character. However, J.K. Rowling did a great job with developing Draco and the R/Hr subplot was, in fact, what I had been waiting for. *sighs* ;D All-in-all, a good read.

Yeah, it probably wasn't my favorite, but it definitly wasn't my least favorite! And ur right that she did a great job developing Draco's character. Oh, and that JK interview was awesome!

I was just so happy Malfoy had depth! I don't know, I love Malfoy for some very odd reason (I'm not even sure why myself), so now I have a beautiful, non-2D Draco. Heh.
Anyway, I knew who would die; it's formulaic. However, I never thought Snape would kill him. I knew it was leading up to that, but I just really didn't think he would.

The romances are so adorable adn its really really good! The same happened to me. I was at a 9 hour tech rehearsal, and I had 100 pages to go and my friend had just finished during the breaks. She was crying so hard that I had to let her tell me, just so I could help her get over it so she could go onstage.

OMG!! I loved this book!! I was so upset when I got it because I had a ton of race practice for my sailing team, so i had to bring a copy and keep on my coaches boat so I could read it during breaks! It was so sad!! I'm still in denial about who died, I can't get over it. Anyways can't wait for the next one! Even you could tell with all the foreshadowing throughout the entire series about (spoiler)being gone and the effects of that but I still can't believe it.
