933 almstfms, girlfriend like Joanne/Maureen or girlfriend Maureen/Angel (well, bad example but you get the picture.... ) NYC was WICKED!!!! ;D OMUG I had soooo much fun. I will post my story here now. Well, the important parts anyway. So Wicked was spectacular, of course, and it was my first Broadway expirience. Megan was hilarious during Popular, it was my favorite number in the show, even though Defying Gravity is my favorite song. DG was good too. Everything was good about it. I got a Defy Gravity shirt, a Popular shirt, a souvenier program, and a poster. After the show, I waited by the stage door and I got Michelle, Megan, David (drools  ) Ben, and Shoshana's autographs on my poster! ;D I'm totally framing it with my playbill, ticket, and pics. Anyway...David was drool-wothry as always....uhh...Megan was soooo nice! She signed EVERYBODY's playbill...so did Ben....ooohhh...funny story. Shoshana came out of the stage door wearing giant sunglasses and had her hair up and obviously didn't want to be noticed and as soon as she stepped out I scream 'SHOSHANA!!!' I was the first to recognize her... . David was nice... uhhh...I got Michelle's right as she was leaving so I'm not sure about her...OH! I might be in the Wall Street Journal! OMUG! ;D There was this photographer there taking pictures for the Wall Street Journal for an article about fans and Wicked...there were these two little girls dressed in witch outfits and hats and green feather boas and he took a pic of them and then one of them with Ben and Ben asked to borrow my which hat (which I happen to be wearing RIGHT now ) which I wore the entire day before the matinee which is what I went to....and throughout the performance (no one was behind me, so it was OK  ) and yeah....so check that out on Saturday....I left Rent at intermission...it was just WAY too sleazy for me. My dad said he hated it and I didn't like it at all....but Mimi was good in Out Tonight...plus Contact would be VERY awkward.... Wow I just typed a lot....so the hotel I was staying at had a phamplet booth and I took EVERY SINGLE Wicked phamplet LLAM There were like 75 So that's about it ;D EDIT: w00t! I'm an Unamed God now. |

Sorry...just a bit too sleazy for me plus I didn't want to sit through Contact with my over-protective dad....but I still love the music, it's just the dancing that gets to me.

I am completely addicted to the OBCR of The Light In The Piazza right now. I'm starting to learn the words and stuff, but that's actually kind of bad, because I can't sing at all, let alone the borderline-operatic-ness of that show. But seriously...I'm in love.
