...When you stop at the M.A.C. counter just to find any green powder cosmetics and expose your knowledge to the world.
And when you're tempted to buy some and 'just add water and brush it on'...not even for halloween.
But then you realise that M.A.C. is ridiculously expensive, which is why Idina uses tons of the stuff for each show; you consider making something of your own... -gyps

LLAM! These are so funny! It sounds like when me and my friends were at the diner and we wrote our own "You Know You're a Theater Person When..." on napkins! I'm afraid to even count how many of these actually apply to me!

...when some random theatre goer comes up to you during intermission and asks if you and your friend are understudies for the cast because he noticed that you mouthed EVERY SINGLE WORD!

...when some random theatre goer comes up to you during intermission and asks if you and your friend are understudies for the cast because he noticed that you mouthed EVERY SINGLE WORD! ... when that was one of your proudest moments! (that was great, wasn't it? I wish I hadn't been in the bathroom when he asked you!)

llam I KNOW!!! ;D That damn weak bladder of yours! Always climbing over everybody!! I do! You should see me book it out of there at intermission. Of course that's mostly to beat the line. And oh how much I love the bathroom lady!

... when you could run a lotto if they asked you to, because you know the script of what needs to be said ...when you could work in place of the bathroom lady because you know the script of what needs to be said.

Oh, I love these!
....when you spend hours searching for a black conical hat on Halloween when you should be at your own Halloween party. ....when you decide that you and your best friend are going to perform "What Is This Feeling" or "For Good" for some function after the sheet music comes out-even if she hasn't seen the show, heard many details about the show or heard the cast recording yet (I decided to restrain myself and let her enjoy the show first hand) ....when you begin referring to your dog and your aunt's dog as Elphie and Galinda because they're always fighting but once you take one away from the other they start whining. ....when you've developed some weird aversion to water. ....when you define days by how long it is until you get to see Wicked again (12 days) ....When you refer to the cast simply by their first names e.c. When others do this, you immediately know who they are talking about. ....When the cast and the guards outside the stage door know you at least by sight. e.c. They remember your name.
That's all I have for now.....

You know you're obsessed when...
1-You take some water, a brush and some brown-green eyeshadow and proceed to paint your friend's face with a thin layer of mucky, glittery green, looking more like a SEASICK Elphie then anything else.
2-When your friend washes off the results of #1, find a little stick of a lighter green, of facepaint, and cover YOURSELF with the stuff. Then get in the shower and have your friend take pictures of you melting. I love remnants of halloween (facepaint) and homemade, innovative solutions. -gyps

You know you're obsessed with Wicked when you've been driving and listening to Wicked for 4 hours in your car and you actually start to ponder naming your future children Elphaba and Glinda...lol...and wonder how badly that would affect their lives! Rachel
