I was looking for dresses at Kohls today and I found one that resembles the Popular dress. It's a darker pink and less poofy though. I'm going to get it Wednesday and wear it to the homecoming dance.

I'm sooo sorry if it looks like I'm spamming again, but this had to be seperate!
Today I wore my Defy Gravity shirt to Performing Arts (aka a show choir type thing...we're doing a rock and roll theme and I'm gonna audition for a solo w/ "One Song Glory" from RENT).Well,I'm swing dancing with a guy and I flip over his back,he has to lift me and swing me from one side to the other, and I jump on his back at the end.I found it ironic that I was wearing my Defy Geavity shirt and had to flip over his back.
And one of my friends goes "What does your shirt say?Defee Gravity?" and I said,"No,defy gravity" and explained what it was about.I also had to tell her what 'defy' meant.People told me that I was a genius (for telling them what defy meant).

I was talking the the girls in my bunk late one night. We were telling each other any type of story, and soon got to fairy tales. After one girl finished her story, I asked "Why does the witch always have to be evil?" "There are some stories where witches are the heroines," someone said. "Well," I clarified, "I sort of meant 'why aren't there any stories where the evil witch really is good, but just misunderstood?'" "Like Elphaba!" three people chorused. Then we started singing "Defying Gravity." ;D

LLAM! That's really funny...*sigh* It just reminds me of how no one at my school knows or cares about Broadway/Wicked...I've tried to Wic-ify them, but they look at me weird...

People told me that I was a genius (for telling them what defy meant). Wow... that's sad... I'm in Beauty and the Beast so when I got bored yesterday I was looking at fun facts about the movie, and it turns out that when the Beast is getting his haircut, and he says he looks stupid, his hairstyle then is actually the same as the Lion's from The Wizard of Oz, like it was designed to be the same... not Wicked, but close enough lol...

A)Yes,it is awfully sad...living in Hicktown has its disappointments (that's why I'm ashamed to admit I'm from here). B)OMG!You're in Beauty and the Beast?ME TOO!!!!Just at the theatre here (which is surprisingly still open, considering how many people here hate the arts) C)The Lion/Beast thing is hilarious!*actually wants to watch movie now because of this. ...I can't use Wicked for my solo audition in Performing Arts chorus!*cries* They want a rock song or a song pertaining to a certain decade.I'll try to do "One Song Glory" or "Hair" or something like that...."Glory" can go to the 80's,so...yeah (it has to be a 50's,60's,70's,or 80's-ish song...I can try to get them to do "Welcome to the 60's" from Hairspray, though)!

You know you're obsessed with Wicked when you're at a Harry Potter release party, clad in a cloak/cape and pointed witch's hat, and all you want is a broom and some green face paint so you can sing "Defying Gravity".
True story. In fact, I'm posting this before I've even begun reading the book. *gasp*

No offense meant whatsoever, but how do you forget a fandom moment like that?
For the record, I'm on page 298 after staying up until 4am, and it's really good so far!
