I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but does anyone know how (or if it's possible) to make animated icons with PhotoPluse5.5?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but does anyone know how (or if it's possible) to make animated icons with PhotoPluse5.5? That's the Serif program, right? I've tried doing animated stuff on there, but I haven't figured it out. The animation stuff on there is mostly if you're doing like movement in a cartoon instead of the kind of animation in our icons. I think it is possible, but it might take a while to get the timing right so you can see whatever is on the icon. |

i've decided to finally buy an animation program (from an actual store). WOOOOOO HOOOOO!!!! it has to make jpg, gif, png, bmp, or swf files. any suggestions? thank you all so, so, so, so much if u respond!!!!!!!! ;D

Defyinggravity: Why buy a program when there is a great free one on the web? I'm using Gimp to make my icons now, and the animation is so much easier than it was in Imageready (the animation component of Photoshop). I really like it. the thing I would do is maybe get Jasc. I haven't used it, but I think quite a few people on the boards use it.
