Well, we could always start voting early...
But no! I said Friday! Deal with it!
Just kidding. Besides, what if someone has an icon they're working on, and they weren't ready to post, and then I end the entry period prematurely?
Let's keep it Friday, and then voting will end Sunday Night, and I'll post the new picture then. Okay? I want this contest to have more regularity: Weekdays are when you post an icon, weekends are when we vote. How's that sound?
And don't worry, Grant--I'm not too busy to run this, although I think I have quite a few hours of Calculus homework ahead of me. And I haven't made any icons sense Monday--I'm in withdrawal!

i thought the contest with the yero elhpie picture eneded and someone won.......my bad,.,,....so we will get a new picture on friday...well its saturday...or did u ema n next friday? im confused....ill wait ottehr wise....i am just eager to make new icons....

Okay, people are voting today and tomorrow. This round ends tomorrow, and then we get the new picture and have until Friday to make our icons. On Friday night, submitting icons end and then voting starts and goes until Sunday, when voting ends. And then the whole thing starts over again.
Does that clear everything up, PopularGalinda?

I won!"--she was referring to the last round. I just want a few more votes....we have a tie right now, but if no one else votes by tonight, I'll call a winner, and then I'll post the new pic. Also, PopularGalinda, your icon isn't the correct size. The rules (in the first post of this thread) say the icon must be 100 pixels by 100 pixels. But since I didn't say anything sooner, and I should have repeated this more often, I'm not going to penalize you or anything. But from now on, anyone whose icon isn't 100 by 100 will be disqualified. ~Amanda |

And voter turn out was great this time! ( I think almost everyone that entered got a vote!) Round 5 picture:  Just make an icon 100 by 100 in size, using this picture. It can be funny, artistic, animated, still, whatever....just make it good!!!! You have til Friday afternoon til this week, then I'll announce when to vote. And they're off! And another subject....I was thinking of making an iContest archive, and maybe putting it up on my Wicked site. I would have a section for each round, and each icon would be saved w/ your Verdigris username in it, to credit. Is everyone okay with that? It's just an idea... I'm lazy so I might not do it. ;D ~Amanda |

Oh my Oz, you guys, you have no idea how awesome I feel right now. Winning twice! It's like, winning two Tonys in one year. Eee, thanks everyone who voted for me, and great job to everyone who entered. All the icons were great. And Amanda, I like the archive idea and am totally fine with it. OMG I can't get over this.
