I was reading through Wicked again and I came to this scene, which just had to be drawn...  It's the scene where li'l Elphie runs off and is found in the arms of a felltop tiger under the dock. I'm proud of the tiger and the dock, btu not so much of Elphie... I've never drawn toddlers before, so she looks older than she should, but overall I am pleased with it. Not the best view of it, as my brother was busy playing Warcraft on the computer with a scanner. I ahd to take a picture using a camera. >@.@< Seasick Kitten |

The tiger absolutely rocks. I love the shading as it comes out of the shadows.

i like little baby elphaba, she looks so weet and innocent, however isn't she supposed to have the green glass thing Turtle Heart blew? but the picture's really good!  |

I love the tiger. ^_^ Elphaba looks slightly off, but all-in-all it's really good; much better than what I can do.

Yeah, you can't really tell... but the glass is cloudy. I don't recall the mirror thing being green. I know the bottle Melena received from the tinker was green, though. Maybe you're mistaking it?I will have to reread it, and I can recolor it if need be. Yeah, I agree Elphie is off, but I didn't notice til after I inked it. I've never drawn toddlers before, just women. I don't really have the porportions and everything down yet.

Turtle Heart hummed a note through his nose or the pipe as he blew an irregular bulb of hot greenish ice. -pg. 36 I guess that's why I though it was green! ;D |

Aha! Looks like you're right. I dunno if it says anything about the color after it cools. I've only seen clear glass blown and I know it turns organge and then cools to clear. From the way that sounds though, is that it is green. Thanks!

no, i checked. that's the only referance to its color. but i think it would be basically clear with a hint of green, but i dont know, its up to you. i just thought the white thing was her blanket/clothes  |
