Revewing the shows doesn't seem to be a very popular thing to do around here, but I thought I'd go ahead and give it a go, since it's fun. I posted this a few places around the web. I warn you know, it's not very review like, though. Just many scattered thoughts.

I've seen the show twice, and even though the other time was spectacular, this one blew it right out of the water. AMAZING.
Since I don't really have much to say, I'm just going to mark down some noticeable things:
*In "No One Mourns the Wicked" there was definitely someone flat. It was coming though the microphones pretty clearly, and was rather annoying.
* In the Wizard and I, they changed a word. Instead of "When we ARE hand in hand, the wizard and I.." it was "When we WORK hand in hand..". I can't believe I actually noticed that. Not only that, but I'm admitting it to people. Jeez.
*Kristin Chenowith has a perfect, perfect soprano voice. It's flawless.
*Idina Menzel is flawless, too. She's like.. one of my idols, she's amazing. Defying Gravity got a standing ovation.
*I used to not like Joel Grey's voice, but it's beginning to grow on me, I must say.
*Norbert Leo Butz was wonderful. I would not be surprised if he was related to Adam Pascal.
It's so weird that I have no criticisms. I usually am pretty picky and critical when it comes to Bway shows, but I just have nothing today. It was THAT good.
Idina better win the Tony.TEXT
Yea. Btw, I'm gonna make a real effort to participate more in these boards, since I don't really as much as I'd like to. I've just been really busy recently. Plus, I have to stay out of the forum about the book, because I haven't finished it yet, sadly. But.. yea. :0)
And yay for Wicked making my day, once again!
And yay for all of you being cool!
