New bloopers thread since I missed the last one running 11 pages (me bad mod, so sorry!) Of course I don't have any bloopers to report since I live in freezing cold hick town and haven't seen the show since February, so someone else will have to post the actual bloopers. I don't know what's going on, I just work here, opening and locking threads and such  |

Oh but you are so very important. Where would we be without our Elphie-Mon?
And this has never actually happened, but I was talking to Jeni and I said that there's a blooper I would love to see: "Hold me too fiercely, kiss me too tight." That would be great if it actually happened.

LLAMOC that'd be so funny! The only blooper I have is way back when in December when Idina didn't catch the hat that Kristin threw to her during the cat fight scene... but nobody even laughed or anything  |

When i was there 6/17 right before the guards take Fiyero after he saves Elphaba, Norb slipped and quickly recovered, saying 'HEY! That was smooooooooooooooooth!!" He cracked up, Cheno COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING!!! She went off stage, and came back on, STILL LAUGHING, so she went over and hugged and kissed him, etc and said something along the lines of 'He Loves Her!' EVERYONE is laughing, so the show stops for what it seems is 5 minutes, for a so called 'gigglefest' and since the guards were supposed to like grab Fiyero, he sorta had to slip and fall on his face so they could grab him... everyone mind you is STILL laughing!!! so they eventually get the scene done, and Eden comes back onstage for No Good Deed...
then for curtain call, Norb did like a dive across the stage and SLID alllllll the way down... head first... it looked like he was gonna fall off the stage, but he didnt.... it was absolutely HILARIOUS though!!

LBB didnt come on in the scene where Dr. Dillamond is fired..It was weird..I thought something happened but then she was on during "I'm Not That Girl"...hmm maybe she just missed her cue

feel free to correct me if i'm wrong but i don't think that the galinda character is ever in that scene b/c then she would have had a speel on her along with everyone else.
bak on topic. in an interview i saw kristin said that sometime her bubbles or the soluton get all over her dress and into mouth and stuff. just thought it was funny.

I think shes in it because in another scene she says "remember that day in Dr. Dillamonds class" or something along the lines when he was fired...how could she remember something from that day in his class if she wasnt there...lol does that makes sense?
also im almost positive that i remember kristin being in that scene...and acting all sad...

My mom said that when she saw the show on 6/24, at the same part where Norb slipped (let the green girl go!), the whole cast just started laughing! she found it really weird, but i love stuff like that!

On July 27th's show, during Dancing Through Life, right after Galinda gives Elphaba the hat, the tall rolling set things are supposed to roll out, and light panels come in, and the back opens up and the stairs slide out. Well tonight the rolling panels never rolled out, so none of the other stuff happened. The dancers just sort of maneuvered around them. Then, the one on the left jerked and sort of almost tipped over, it was kindof scary. Then it righted itself, they rolled away, and everything worked again, but Laura and Norbert had to enter from the wings. They looked so confused. Also, when Laura throws Eden the witch hat in act 2, she missed, aims too high; the hat flies over Eden, she spins around, grabs it and runs. And I was thinking "If this were Kristin and Idina, everyone would be laughing now." At least Eden caught the broom.  -gyps |

Those are great. I saw it on May 27th. During Thank Goodness Kristin's fot slipped off of the platform, Norbert caught her. He turned and laughed a bit while she said "These new shoes are a pain. Remind me not to wear these again." I was cracking up, so was my mom and the lady next to us. We thought that it was cute.

I saw Wicked on June 30th. Just in case no one's heard yet, the First Lady was there also...meaning secret service people EVERYWHERE. And the whole cast was WIRED. There weren't any actual bloopers, per se, but Kristin improv-ed A LOT and it seemed like she was actually trying to crack everyone else up.
During Dancing Through Life, Kristin spent all of Norbert's solo following him around and mimicking his dance moves...from what I've heard, she's supposed to do this, but she actually managed to crack him up by doing this spastic high kick thingy which he then tried to repeat and couldn't. He missed like half a verse cuz he was laughing so hard. Kristin proceeded to do the high kick several more times, which got huge laughs.
During Popular, on the hair flipping part, Kristin did the normal lines and then instead of letting Eden attempt the hair flip, continued with "Or you can flip it with your hand, like this." She then proceeded to bend over and totally mess her hair up with her hands until it was just a tangled mass. To her credit, Eden didn't crack up but just sat there with this totally disgusted look.
Finally, at the beginning of One Short Day, Kristin changed the line to be "Oh, I've always wanted to go shopping in the Emerald City."
All in all, an amazing show.

omg that does sound like a really amazing show!!! i lovee reading about the bloopers even tho i've never actually seen one...it sounds like it would be really cool and funny to actually see them.

This isn't an incredibly funny blooper, not funny at all actually. But in the part where Kristin was supposed to say "Somethings wrong, I didn't get my way, I need to lay down." in stead she said "Maybe this will make me a better person. "
Then, when *Spoiler* Fiyero goes off with Elphie at the Wizards Palace after the Engagment ball *End of Spoiler* She said "I think I have a headache, I need to lay down." and it wasn't as funny as it could have been.
