"Blinding the Dinner Guests" By me, done in ink, colored pencil and pastels. Yep, I've done another picture. This one is of Elphaba sending her crows after Dorothy and co. Mainly because I wanted an illustration to go with Liir's quote: "She's sent the crows out to blind the guests coming for dinner!"

Though I've never read the book, I LUV your illustration. It is so cool, with all of the different shades and textures. I am a BIG fan! ;D

Thanks ^_^. I love coloring in different textures, especially with black and gray. Much more so than the pretty colors I used in "Waiting for Boq."

Pretty colors may be pretty, but in my mind uses of different textures should be appreciated much more. Another great picture! I, for some odd reason, really like her hair...

Yeah, her hair's my favorite part. I thought about inking it in at first, but I decided to use pencil, like with the crows.

I like the cape a lot ^ ^! I also liek the contrast her hand makes to the rest of the gray and balcks. It's really neat!

Yay, thank you ^_^. I didn't realize how the little bit of green would contrast until I finished it, but I'm pretty pleased about it.

Now this is coming from a totally visually art inept person: but would it create a cool effect to lightly ink a bottom layer for her hair and then pencil in other areas? Just a thought. But great job! DE
