Alright, so it hasn't happened yet... I'm skipping my school's lame home coming dance to go see it (I don't associate with those poor deluded people anyway) so I can go to New York. Ironically, the theme for their ill-concieved celebratation is New York New York...haha. Anyway, I'm seeing Wicked October 10th, yup...and I can't wait.
On top of that I'm seeing the national tour of Chicago on Sunday here in Cincinnati...yup...
So now I've/will have seen (very soon); Phantom of the Opera (Nat. Tour TWICE), Blood Brothers (London), A Funny Thing happened on the way to the forum, Pippin (school production), Hello Dolly (school production), Chicago...and hte most anticipated of all......
WICKED!

It's sad you have to miss the homecoming dance, it's so much fun -- since I'd know being a freshmen, right? Haha. Actually I went to my high school's homecoming dance last year and the year before too with friends from the HS. Anyway, I hope you like the show. Of course, you will! Lol, if you don't we'll throw rocks and rotten food at you and jeer. Um...just kidding. I'm sure no one would do that *kicks crate of tomatoes from 1983 under nearby table* Hehe, have fun in New Yorky York!!

Absolutely....AMAZING!
So wonderful...I'll never forget it. I loved every moment of it, I sat in seat two, front Mezzanine row BB! Afterward I met Boq and Michelle Ferderer who graciously signed autographs, unfortunately I didn't stick areound long enough to meet Idina or JLT, I wish I had though.
Does anyone know Elphaba's chants during WWoTE? I know the first one is something like Amulandare Pato Pakoot Samulandasta Kahltapest, La perato la perahtum ehrre kerre heightbest....

To everyone who hasn't seen the show yet, it's so wonderful- no pun intented but it works, huh? Anyway, I just saw it on 1/9 and it was also my first time in NYC and now I want to move up there!!! But anyway, have fun, greenified (sorry, don't know your name) when you go! And to everyone else, about homecomings, I didn't even have one cuz I went to an all girls high school- which wasn't all that bad, for those who think that an all girls school is a crazy idea- its actually the more popular choice in New Orleans. Anyway, I guess what I mean is I wish I'd been able to go to a boys school's homecoming but now I'm too old for that, so it doesn't matter anymore.

I saw Wicked for the first time over Thanksgiving break, and i was so mezmerized by the entire thing...everyone was so amazing...the music captivated me.. and i was on the back of my seat in amazement anytime Idina opened her mouth... JLT was G(a)linda, but having seen youre a good man charlie brown, i was already a cheno fan! there will never be a show that affected me like wicked did...
