I just thought I'd start this off by answering Fiyero's question from The Bored Thread. There are a few reasons why we lock posts at ten pages. One reason is that it keeps everything a little more neat and orderly. It makes it easier for the BoZ to keep track of threads, and make sure we're doing our best to keep this board a fun, happy, safe place for all of you. The original reason, however, has more to do with new members. There were a few complaints made by newbies that the long posts were hard to slog through, especially when we started getting a little off-topic (which we did a lot more in the early days of this board, before we had rules and moderators). The solution we came up with was to lock posts at ten pages, start fresh, and get back on topic.

Well, here's a question that's been nagging at me: What does "BoZ" stand for? I know, I'm thick... but I've been posting here for quite a while now and each time I see "BoZ" I wonder.  |

I was so bored that I began looking through the members and it listed Jouley as a BoZ.. who's Jouley? Why is she never mentioned as a BoZ? Just wondering.

Jouley created this board for me. If it wasn't for Jouley, we'd be on a Voy board, which is much less cool! Anyway, since she created the board, her name is on the admin account. I don't really know what happened to Jouley... she kinda faded away from the fandom, I think. Anyway, she's not here, she's not technically a BoZ - that title shows up for everyone who is a mod or admin (so basically, the BoZ + Jouley). Hope that helps!

If you go into the first post and click "modify" you can change the title of the thread. That's what I always do when I update "That Girl."

Ok, I have a really odd situation for you. I have a friend who's been trying to sign up for this board for about the past week. She's given it her email, password and everything and her username even shows up in the members list, but she never got her password emailed to her. And it's happened twice....anyone have a clue what's going on?
