Hi! I'm Ryan and I love Wicked. I've only seen it 12 times so far, but I plan to see it loads more. I had my birthday party there last weekend and it was spectacular!

Greetings to all. I, Stephanie, am also dangerously addicted to Wicked. However, I'm on the website because Aly, my Wicked buddy and our beloved webmistress, wanted to boost the amount of people on the board. I have seen the show 5 times now, including opening night (after which we snuck into the party). I'm a constant figure (with Aly by my side) at the lotto and together, we are on a first name basis with "Lotto Guy."
Basics, I'm a 20 year old Theatre Performance Major living in New York City. I'm originally from a VERY tiny town in Texas (so chin up Malory!). I, like many of you, grew up with the Wizard, and for at least a year of my life would not respond to any name but " Dorothy Gale."
For those of you discussing a meeting of the Wicked (fan)Board, just talk to Aly about a date, time, and place and I will be the quiet one tagging along behind her.
Lost on the Yellow Brick Road, ~Steph

12 times!!1 *cries* I really need to see it again...*if only should could raise enough money for the train and then the money for the ticket* I hate being a poor college student. Happy birthday by the way. I know! 12 times! lol...I'm excited about my 3rd on the 27th!! (I hope I get to see it many more times, of course). Totally understand the poor college student thing...I just graduated last May. Now I'm a poor, unemployed, college graduate. Good times. ? for you though? How do you get up to NYC? B/c if you have a car, it's much cheaper to drive to Trenton (it's about 40 minutes-an hour from Philly depending on where in Philly you're coming from), and then it's like $20 roundtrip and an hour and 20 minutes on the train from Trenton to NYC. That's how I always go. Rachel

That's how I always go. Rachel Well...I have a car...I just can't drive it. I would probably end up taking the train from Philly to Trenton and then the train from Trenton to NYC. Or I would take one of the $20 bus trips from China Town here in Philly up to NYC depending on the day...It all comes down to the time and money issue though. *nods* ;D Or I can just beg my mother till she caves cause I know she wants to see it again.

heyy all, I'm Ariela. I'm 16 and totally wicked obsessed ;0). I read the book back in the day when I heard that it might be made into a musical, and absolutlely loved it! I saw the show 3 times and hope to see it many more, but its hard bc I live in stupid FL. I go to NYC all the time though and hopefully I'll be going to NYU fall of 05. :0). I worked at wicked and got the whole backstage tour et c and NEED to be in it. I decided that I'll be Elphaba in the touring cast and then move into it on broadway...but if I'm too young, I'll start as Nessa. WHAT A DREAM! LOL. Well enough on that- if you have anything wicked related IM me at dramababette and we'll see about trading becasue I have a lot of stuff too.
xoox Ariela

Hey, I'm new here, I'm Nancy (futrbwaystar if any of you are from LiveJournal). I'm 15 years old and in 9th grade, and I saw Wicked about a month ago when I went up to NYC.. me and my mom actually hadn't bought tickets in advance but ended up getting cancellation tickets (row D!) when we asked at the box office. We were really lucky, especially since it was sold out that weekend! I'm just your average Wicked fan, I guess, I love the book also and wish they'd incorporated Yero's blue diamonds into the show ;D I'm planning to go see it again this summer before Idina leaves. Oh, yes, did I mention I'm a big fan of hers?

According to an interview with NLB, they actually did use the Blue Diamonds in one or two of the San Fran runs. He said they looked great until you got past the 3rd row. Then they looked like bruises. Does anyone have a date on when Idina and Kristen are supposed to leave the run?

Does anyone have a date on when Idina and Kristen are supposed to leave the run? I've heard that Idina said fall. Novemberish, I think. But there's nothing really official.

I thought I heard they were both under a year's contract, which would put them to about the end of October, early November...I think. Oh yeah, and I caught Elphie first!

Hi everybody!!!!!!! I'm Amy and I am a completely obsessed Wicked fanatic ;D . I first saw the show opening night because I am a HUGE fan of Idina Menzel and The Wizard of Oz. I have tickets to see it for the 2nd time on February 21 with my best friend (my Galinda ). I read the book after I saw the show and I absolutely love it! It hooked me on Gregory Maguire and I just finished Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister and I'm going to be moving onto Lost soon. My favorite character from the musical is Nessarose because I can identify with her and her issues with Boq. Oh, and I'm also a Philly girl! Actually, suburbs outside of Philly, but not too far. If we do end up having a Wicked board get together, definitely count me in!!!!
