Alana...are you sure you're thirteen? LLAM. You seem from your writing to be older, and trust me thats good. But damn I don't think I even knew the word strenuous when I was 13! I totally agree with the Idina as an idol thing. She's amazing.
Nancy...after I got blown away by the set, I was sitting there reading my Playbill and saw Idina's name and read her bio. Once I saw "originated the role of Maureen in RENT..." I about peed myself with excitement!
Summer...I know you from the Yahoo group! Glad you decided to swing by and say hello.
Jeni...hi! LLAM.
Jill...you're touring? That's so exciting. Be sure to drop us a postcard, llam and of course wherever you go...talk about Wicked!
Amy and Kristina...cool another set of sisters. I'm beginng to think I should clone myself just to have a sister on this board! But the BoZ girls are like my sisters so I guess that counts!

Hi!!! My name is Jennie, otherwise known as the Wickedest Witch there EVER was (besides our lovely Elphie, of course). I'm fourteen years old (almost fifteen, even though I'm a bit young I am relatively mature), and I am OBSESSED with Wicked! My friend introduced me to the show and I fell in love (no, not literally, I have a boyfriend) with Idina Menzel's voice. She is my absolute IDOL! Actually, today I had an audition for Grease at my high school, and I sang "The Wizard and I". When my director told me I had a great attitude and stage presence, I was like, "I learned it from my idol, Idina Menzel. You can thank her." She looked at me like I was crazy. Not crazy, just obsessed  . Anyways, after that brief little story, I just thought that this board was a great idea, and joining would be super fantastic! You all seem like really great people, and the fact that you all love Wicked as much as I do just makes you all even easier to like ;D!!! I might not be here too often, but I'm going to try to visit as much as I can. I'm so busy with school and homework and this new show and becoming more and more obsessed with Idina and Wicked  ...but I'll be around, so keep your eyes looking towards the western sky! Hey ya'll.... I'm Rory and I'm from CT. I go to school with SaSa. Actually she's the one who introduced me to WICKED. I'm hooked on the music and we're seeing it in 12 DAYS- my first time! I CANT WAIT! ;D I'm 22 and a English and Media Studies major with a Theatre minor... I'm graduating soon (SCARY!) and HOPEFULLY going to grad school for English and Secondary Education. I love Glinda and I love talking about myself but I'll leave this post short cuz I'm still learning how to get around around on the board... and I don't wanna scare anyone away! Guys, this is Rory. She's a future PTA mom of America, just like myself. She's awesome. And she's also my stage manager! But as I informed her today, she's my personal assistant...I'm so cocky and demanding. Good god I'm such a diva.
But YAY! You're here and this is fun and now we can have Verdigris jokes at rehearsal when I'm not killing Dan!

Hi everyone! This is the second time I'm posting this, but I was informed that my introduction must in fact be posted HERE and not elsewhere...anyway...
My name is Chris and I live on Long Island (not too far from the land of Oz...I mean...The Gershwin Theatre!). I'll be graduating from Fordham University in less than three months...with a degree in Theology (Music minor).
I am a HUGE Wicked fan. I have been since way before Day One! (I got hooked over the summer and have just gotten more and more into it ever since.) I am (was?) moderator of the Wicked_the_musical Yahoo! Group...and now it's disappeared off the face of the planet, so...I don't know! Anyway, I have been promoting the show for a long time, even before I saw it for the first time (October 14th). It's truly inspirational and heartfelt...so much that it has inspired me to do the 25-30 page Senior Thesis Project on it! [Read my next post for details.]

im ariel and i've been following this board for a while and i absolutely LOVE IT! (especially the fiyeraba fanfics, heehee ;D) i love that you people are as OBSESSED with wicked as i am sadly i havent seen wicked yet  , but i mite go this june ;D...if i can salvage enough money  although i have read the book, which kicks ass! and i am currently reading confessions of an ugly stepsister. |
