Welcome! I just joined yesterday, so I'm also a newbie. I have already started to really enjoy myself on this site. Because, as obvious as it is, Wicked is the best broadway show, so how can't you have a good time on a Wicked fanboard?

hi guys

i think i'm in the right place. my name is lindsay, i'm a self-proclamed theatre geek and i love acting. i've been browsing this board for awhile and yall all seem like relatively nice (albeit slightly crazy...but i like it!) people, so i thought i'd join in the fun!

sadly, i'm what i think you call a "wicked virgin", if that means that i've not seen wicked. i live in the great state of texas, and the only thing not so great about it is that its freaking far away from ny. but i got the soundtrack/cast recording/whatever you call it and i am completely enamored. if its not in my stereo its in my walkman and if its not in my walkman its in my car (its current residence). my favorite songs include but are not limited to: what is this feeling?, i'm not that girl, popular, march of the witch hunters (not b/c its all KILL THE WITCH but b/c i love the harmonies) and for good.

i've loved kc since i saw her perform "my philosophy" on the tonys in 99. i'd never heard of idina but man can she sing. those two rock my socks.

well this was a rather long winded intro. i may need some help learning the ropes as i'm a bit message-board challenged, so i hope yall dont mind me askin questions. now its off to study for my precal and spanish tests...wish me luck!

Hello!

It's my first time posting on these boards (so I hope I am doing it in the right place).

So here is my introduction:

My name is Caroline, and first saw Wicked 2 weeks ago today (I was a little late on getting to see it for the first time...), but now that I have seen it I am totally hooked! FORTUNATELY, I live in Manhattan, so seeing the show again (and again and again) is totally possible (in fact, I just discovered that my school is selling tickets to two performances next month for 30 bucks each... it's kind of hard to resist buying them...*dance*). After this week of work (for some reason my professors expect me to learn), I have intentions of heading down to the lottery fairly frequently.

Uh, yes. So, my fandom generally manifests itself in the form of icons/banners/layouts/desktops/etc... And if you are interested in seeing those (or have requests... I love doing requests!) feel free to let me know.

Other than that, I don't quite know what else to put. So I suppose I will end this kind of rambling introduction here.

Hi all,
the names michele and i'm a jersey girl thru and thru. I am also a theater/b'way geek! i guess u can say i was born inot it. i saw my frist saw at age 6 and it was buety and the beast. scince then i've seen over 20 and been in just as many local shows and have them all memorized! i am part of a musical theater group in jersey and that is actually where i heard of Wicked! one of my friends (who is on this broad) saw it and told me i had to see it. so when our school saw it in december we went together and i instintly feel in love with it! Scince then i saw it another time with my family in jan. b/c they got so annoyed with me trying not to say anything, and i will prob. be seeing it withteo of my friends and one of their friends on this site. i have read the book twice and abosuletly love it! I am also a Idina fan thru and thru, my school friends now get annoyed with me for talking about it too much! i have a song from wicked to represent just about every feeling i have. when Gypsy found out how much i was into it she gave me this board to sign up to. I think i even to talked to one or 2 of u during my show My Fav. Year.
