Hello hello! As you can tell by my posting here, I'm new to the board! I don't have a whole lot to say, other than I saw Wicked back in January (when Taye was in for Norbert) & thought it was fantastic. I had so much fun watching it!
And Idina Menzel blew me away.
100%.
But I was expecting that.
That's all for me for tonight, but I hope to get to know you guys!

DeFyGrAvItY88: Yes indeed, thirty dollars. Unfortunately they only had one ticket left when I got there! Bah (there were originaly tickets for multiple nights... hence the bah). But I suppose I am happy that other people are learning of the joy that is Wicked.
SugarTherapy: Attack away! I am sure I will be looking for company while I wait, as I haven’t yet found any friends as crazy as me who will traverse down as frequently as I wish to ;D. Speaking of which, is there a thread for this? I don’t know if that would really work (like people saying when they were going ect...), but I figured I might as well ask.
GreenSkinnedWitch, Cate, Elphie: Thanks for the welcome.

Hi everyobdy!
My name is Olivia and I am a HUGE Wicked fan. I've seen the show 2 times already and am going to see it again this May. As you can probably guess from my username and stuff, I am a big fan of Kristin. I think she just has the most beautiful voice, and she's inspired me so much to go for my dream: Broadway. This seems like such a cool board; I'm having fun already! I can't wait to get acquainted with fellow WickedHeads..heehee ;D

Hi everybody. I have the good fortune to have actually attended school with one of the moderators, who is slowly sucking me into this crazy Wicked obsession. Granted, I've been anticipating it since I first heard of it (I read the book BEFORE the show started) due to my love of Godspell and Children of Eden, and therefore, Stephen Schwartz, plus the A-list of some of the brightest musical theatre stars of our generation. Anyway, FINALLY got to New York to see it, and... yeah, totally overwhelmed. As an actor (did I mention I act... and sing... oooh... and tap dance... wanna cast me... I'm cute!) it's been a long time since I've seen a show that felt like magic, where I wasn't analyzing the acting choices or picking at the weaknesses. For once, I sat back and let myself be blown away. And I loved it. So here I am, a week later, finding myself a member of two of these message boards as well as a Glitterite (I said that as straight as possible, which... ok, granted... not very well). So here's one more fan, um... yeah.
