Oh look, another introduction thread! If you're going to participate in the book club, respond here with your name and whether or not you've read Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. This will help us get an idea of how many people are in the book club! Please only post once in this thread. Thanks!

I'm Jennie, and I've actually been looking for a copy in the book in American bookstores that I've been to, 'cause I really don't want to wait to order it online. Does anyone know if Barnes and Noble carries it, because I couldn't find it the last time I was there. I'd really like to be a part of this book club! Thanks a bunch!

I'm Caitlinda...and I've read the book like twice or something. My current copy is underneath my pillow on my bunkbed and I'm waiting for my WICKED: THE MUSICAL tie-in edition to arrive, but our mailroom is slow so I probably won't get it for another few weeks. Oh...umm...I love the book. And I heard they are making a musical out of it. Anyone hear any of this rumors? Some people are just so crazy. ;D

Hey all! I'm Kay... I read the book recently over my semester break from college. I think this is a book you have to read more than once to get all the intricate details (Gregory Maguire is a great writer that way!) so I can't wait to read it again! And discuss it since no one else I know has read it and it's kinda hard to carry on conversations with oneself. ;D

Hello. Ryero here. I've read Wicked thrice and I hate it very much. But I will endure it again in order to bring some realism and conscience to this club discussion.
The one redeeming quality of the book has is it inspired the musical adaptation... which I LOVE SO SO MUCH!
OK.. This isn't as much a Modify as it is a Moodify! I'm really looking forward to the book club and I promise I will not be all downer about the book Wicked.
I shall like very much to be able to discuss as we go certain confusifying aspects of the book and fun plot twists.
-Your Neighborhood Ryero
