some people just say things are controversial to say things are controversial And it shows you that people a) overthink to a dangerous level, b) relate inoffensive plot points to explosive subjects, c) don't recognise coincidences d) make stuff up, e) are just plain insane. All of which are reasons that I wish I was born a turtle...jk, of course. But that woman must be crazy. |

Wow.....that makes me ashamed to live in Chicago and read the Sun-Times. That is the stupidest, most disgusting comparison to Wicked I have ever heard of. She is completely insane!!!! She should seriously be fired. After reading that, I am seriously contemplating writing a letter to the editor of the Chicago Sun-Times concerning her. One thing that I liked, though was how Joe Mantello wrote, "How ironic that in reviewing a show about the vilification of a green girl she should site an actor's skin color to make such a baseless, illogical point." That is a really good point! Plus, how could she think that they were likening the munchkins to the victims of the Holocaust?!?!?
Seriously, that lady is insane. It just gets me mad!
