The final night of it, they are showing footage from rehearsals and opening night of Wicked I believe...
I'll have to search the site again. But on the game, you can win "tickets" for the show of your choice and one is Wicked.

I am looking forward to seeing this show. There have been so many great shows in Broadway history and this is a great way to talk about it. The fact that they will talk about Wicked is such a great plus!

I read in a magazine the video store I work in gets that it is also supposed to be released on DVD this week before it actually airs. I'm really looking forward to this documentary ;D .

Oh crap. Mom bested me again. We saw the preview for Broadway:An American Musical tonight and she said she saw a Wicked clip but I told her Wicked was too new to be on the show. We fought about it for over five minutes cuz she swore she saw a broom in the clip and finally I changed the subject by putting the baseball game on. Looks like she was right. Darn it! I hate it when she out-Wicked-s me!!!

But that clip has been butchered! (or maybe it skipped on mine I ono) but Elphie goes 'Bring me down!' and you hear Cheno's 'I hope you're happy' and the Ozians start to say 'look at her!' but then they go 'bring her down!'....I hope PBS didn't edit all that out when they show it on TV.....

Yeah, it did that on my computer too. In all fairness, it hasn't been COMPLETELY butchered. I mean, it really is only a few seconds cut out and I'm just happy that Wicked is in there at all. Of course, it'd be even cooler if they just left those few seconds in...Oh, had anyone else seen the companion book to the PBS show? I was in Barnes & Nobles tonight and was looking through it (didn't buy it though, $60 for a book is a bit much for me right now...). There isn't a ton about Wicked, but they do have a really good picture of Kristin and Idina (the "One Short Day" photo) and a little pararaph about the show. They also have a section on Joel Grey and near the end it mentions his role in Wicked. All in all, it's a really neat book and got me even more excited for the documentary.

Ouch, my computer didn't like that clip at all. I've always seen Elphie with a green face but never a red and blue and black face before. Stupid computer. Anyone else played PBS's Broadway Trivia?? Fun times.

I played the trivia game! That was fun. I did all of the shows, so I got to see the same questions over and over again (also to get the correct!) PBS is really excited about this show b/c I've seen ads for it everywhere.

Oh, who else got really excited when they saw the title, "Defying Gravity"? It was awesome to see some of the rehearsals. I hear that there is even more on the DVD, in the special features.
