I love this girl! I was lucky enough to see her live, in her Tony-winning performance for You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, on its closing night on Broadway. I've loved her ever since.
I think she was excellent in TV's The Music Man. And when I heard she was gonna be in WICKED... I knew the should would be a hit.
And I think from this point forward, any project she's a part of will be a hit.
If she had been alive back in the golden age of musical movies, I really think she'd have been bigger than Judy Garland.

So funny cuz I taped Music Man on tv whenever it first was on, watched it once, and swore I was gonna tape over it the next day. I really didn't like Broderick or the long dance numbers. The only aspect of the movie I liked was Marion- played by the actress with the name I'd probably pronounce wrong. Had NO idea who it was. Then Wicked came along and I didn't make the connection until I read 'Glinda's' bio. Went rummaging around my tape shelf and found out that through some fluke I didn't tape over it. Now I've seen it like ten times. My family won't let me watch it when anyone's in the house anymore cuz I've annoyed them so bad ;D Chenoweth's voice is amazing and I think you're right about the future projects.

After I saw Wicked I went back and watched Annie! She's soooo hysterical! I love that girl! She's so nice too! Norbert introduced me to her and she was so friendly and outgoing! I saw the show in NYC when she had the neckbrace on and so we saw her backstage and she looked really worn out but she was still perky! The picture I took with her is so cute! She looks like she's falling into me and my sister! I actually felt tall next to her, says the short girl. Yeah she's like the only person who can make me feel tall. I'm only 5' 1" but I had platforms on too so it was funny seeing how small Kristin was!

My friend nearly ran her over one day...she's a lil bit of a thing and she's like 5 foot nothing and he's 6 feet tall or so and didnt even see her (crowded New York side walk yada yada yada). He said she musta been late for the show or something, because she was booking it down the street, weaving in and out of people...she stepped right around him and off she went, all determined and spunky and late for work lol

AWWW! That's so cute! That's what I have to do at school. About the only advantage of being small is the ability to weave in and of out people and under them and stuff to get where you gotta be!

I didn't really like The Music Man the first time I saw it but when I watched it after seeing Wicked...well, you couldn't pry the tape away from me for all the rubies in Quadling Country! I think that Kristin Chenoweth is absolutely amazing. And her facial expressions always make me laugh! Especially in Music Man during the "Marion the Librarian" scene!

I didn't really like Music Man that much. Not necessarily the movie, just the whole show in general. It just bugs me. But of course I still thought Kristin Chenoweth was amazing in it! It was so surreal meeting her. It's like, "WOW! I can go home and watch you on TV! You're famous and here I am standing next to you and you're touching me!" LLAMOC! Yeah, ok it sounds a little lame, but it's so awesome to have that experience!

I remember when it was airing, my mom was so excited, since it was her FAVORITE show in her lifetime, so I had a friend over and my mom made us all watch it with her. It was somewhat of a torture, but in a way it was funny as hell. Every time we saw Kristin we'd be like "wiggage..." and had NO idea who she was until we saw wicked. -gyps

Ahh, I haven't watched it in a while...hmm...that would be a good idea. Kristin is amazering...did anyone know she's southern? She has the most amazingified Southern accent! And, she's so incredibly nice! When me and my sis went backstage, she's like: "Hey ya'll, ya'll like the show?" and then she's like. "I see ya'll get your wicked shirts on!" yes, we did put them on! She's so excellent!

Yeah, she's from Broken Arrow, OK if memory serves. Steph is also from the south - TX - so she noticed every time Kristin's accent pops out onstage. Last time we were there, when she said "every other teachers seem sto be able to pronounce my name" Steph cracked up cuz her "my" was about as southern as you get!

Ahh! That's excellent! I couldn't really notice it on stage...she covers it up well, I guess! Her character doesn't even to have a southern fling on it, just Kristin. That'd be interesting to view, I must say, this little bubbly Glinda in a southern accent...tehehe
