I love "My New Philosophy," especially when asked "is that your new philosophy?" she responds "yes..I mean NO!" The way she sings it it's like she is as young as the character, almost, and it's easy to see the character instead of Kristen singing the song.

Oops! I accidently hit the submit vote button when it was on If. I would actually vote for My New Philosophy b/c that's the only KC song I've heard other than her songs in Wicked and The Music Man. I'm sure all of her songs are great though.

I absolutely cannot find any of Chenoweth's Music Man songs or the CD anywhere I look! Has anyone ever seen the CD anywhere?

You can buy them at Amazon.com or Barnesandnoble.com. I just checked and I saw the Music Man and Amazon. I would think you could find them in any store... Wonder why you haven't seen them.

Right. My friend and I did You're A Good Man and she got to be Sally...I envied her because she got to say these fun lines with a cute little girl accent...but at least I got to be Lucy and strain my voice because I had to belt high and have it sound bad and be bossy....it was fun. Lol, now that I've gotten off topic...

Wonder why you haven't seen them. llam cuz I live in a dopey little city in central Canada where all we have are really bad hockey teams and road construction. Musically inclined they are not. Nuff said. Anyways keeping on topic, is Chenoweth ever going to release that second CD she's supposed to be working on? Or did nothing ever come of it?

That was tough, but I went with 14G because its such a fun challenge to sing, what with all the different styles. If anybody has any doubt that Kristin is a versitile artist, just play them this song.
My second choice was, of course, "Taylor", cuz please. How awesome is that song? I used to hang out at this coffee shop all the time... we were friends with the guys who worked there and I recall changing "Taylor" to other names at least once.

A girl in my showcase did 14G, and they made it a trio...13G (jazz singer) 14G (mouse to belter) 15G (opera diva)....it was hilarious. My friend who did the opera part was the funniest part Ok, I voted for My Funny Valentine because it's one of my favorite songs. Ever.

I haven't heard any of Kristin's songs, which is depressing. I know. Does anyone think they can send me some of them through AIM? My screen name's in the profile.
Oh, and what does she mean when she says 14G? This confuses me. -gyps

For the longest time I could not stop play 14G, it's like the greatest Cheno song out there! It really does show the versitility of Kristin's voice. I love songs that tell a story (it kind of reminded me of Liza Minnelli's Ring Them Bells, just the story style bit of it). But, I ended up picking My New Philosophy, because Kristin is just tooo funny and too cute. Plus the part when Cheno says "I can't stand it!". Just too funny. (This song reminded me of the bouncyness of Popular.)

My Funny Valentine. Nobody can sing it the way she does.
