I was wondering if someone with a good ear (or the score) could help me with a few questions?
What's the highest keys G(a)linda and Elphaba hit?
And what are the required range for each of those characters?
Thanks.

well, it kinda depends, because both idina and kristen took a lot of optional notes (especially kristen!!) ;D i'd have to say from low e to high f for elphaba and from low e to a high a(at the very least ) for G(a)linda hope this helps!

I know that Kristin used to sing the high e (3 es above middle c!!!) at the end of thank goodness...... and in for good i think she goes down to low e (the e below middle c) and that that note is written in the score...... so to play Galinda the Cheno way u need at least a solid full 4 octaves! wow..... Kristin was...... well, Kristin... no other words to use......... "there will never be another Kristin Chenoweth"
