Okay..I know, I know the title is not that creative..and I know Elphie/Monica wanted someone to start a Kristin Chenoweth thread with a creative title but nobody was and it was starting to depress me that we did not have a Kristin Chenoweth thread..especially since she's not in Wicked anymore..so it was depressing me that it was almost like she was out of Wicked and now out of the board too! Okay I'm too confusifying.. Hmm..to start...is anyone here going to see her at Carnagie Hall in September? Cait and I are trying to get tickets.. Well anyway..post all your Cheno thoughts here! Because after all, there will NEVER be another Kristin Chenoweth! edit: just found this cute cheno interview..click to play it in real player: www.ny1.com/ny/Search/SubTopic/index.html?&contentintid=37553&search_result=1

Okay, I have been a Kristin fan since I saw her in either Music Man or Annie (forgot which was first) and I looked her up on the internet and got really interested. And then when I first heard about Wicked and that she was in it, I got really excited and I bought her CD and the Wicked CD on the same day, hehe. Basically, I love Kristin so much. I want to bump into her somewhere in NYC. Haha. That would rock my socks.

n the best part is...i've posted in the kristin chenoweth thread many times.. way to pay attention is right haha llam that's hi-larious ;D DSO my mom made the funniest comment about Cheno tonight and I remember thinking to myself 'oh, the gals on the board are gonna LOVE this' but now I can't remember what it was! Darnit! Well, she also made the comment that it would be neat to see a singing competition between Cheno, Sarah Brightman, Charlotte Church, and Kiri Te Kanawa. I dunno who would win that but it would be awesome to see!

I love Kristin. I've only seen her in person once out of the three times I saw Wicked. I first fell in love with her when I saw her perform at the 1999 Tonys, and win right after! I of course noticed her unique speaking voice. I also noticed that she had real charisma. I didn't know who the heck she was, but I never forgot her. Kristin was the reason I saw Wicked. I wanted to see her. I'll be eternally grateful to her for that. When she wasn't there the first time, I was crushed. But I still loved the show enough to come back twice. ;D She was in it the second time. As soon as she came down in her bubble, I burst into tears. I'm actually teary right now just thinking about it. She was perfect. But we all know that. Because I knew her (I don't really know her but you get the idea), I have been changed for good. Love you Cheno!

Oh, um, Kristin Chenoweth, right....I had no idea what a great pianist she was. Yay for Kristin. Yeah the whole piano-playing thing was news to me too! (though they do mention in the Vogue interview that she does all her warmups by herself on the piano before every show.) What a great role model she is to aspiring actresses- she's so disciplined with the whole masters degree in opera and playing the piano and everything! wOOt book club has started! Everyone head over to Three Queens to check out the first section the book club is reading!

Kristin really is SO talented..i didn't know about her piano-playing skills either. the interview was really cute and cheno said some really funny things. Of course we all miss Kristin in Wicked and went through a really depressing time (or atleast i did llam) but like kerri said..we need to think of it that kristin's moving on to other projects. she's looking forward to doing these new things so we should be happy for her too. even though its hard it's not like kristin dissapeared from the planet...and we can still support her in other things besides wicked! like court said..we're desperately trying to get to CH on september 10th and im sure we're all going to go out and see her movie(s) and some of us may even be lucky enough to see her in the alice and wonderland opera thng llam...anyway..i think this post is mainly to comfort myself, end this saddness about cheno leaving wicked, and reassure myself/everyone that kristin didnt fall off the face of the earth and we will see her again.. so who has tickets for Carnegie Hall?

I LOVE KRISTIN! Seriously, she IS my IDOL! I told her so also. Whenever I met her in the city, it was such an amazing experience. She is the sweetest most down-to-earth person. I was so happy to get to meet her and I also got to say a very sweet goodbye to her at the stage door on the 17th. (I video taped it too- it's priceless-haha)
For someone like me who aspires to be on Broadway, she is the spitting image of a person I want to be like. I am going to miss her so much. After crying hysterically when I said goodbye to her and then throughout her last show and again the day after, i know how much she means in my life. She truly has inspired me in a million diff ways, and i hope she knows that. She is the perfect role model.
I know many people say they "love her" but there is a line between being a fan and someone who looks up to her and truly admires her. Ok WOW i sound so dorky... so, moving on: There truly will NEVER be another Kristin Chenoweth. I can't wait to see her in both her concerts, and in her future movies and when she returns to broadway and so much more! Basically:
I LOVE KRISTIN!
