I saw Wicked on 10/8 (as my post in the other thread says), and I was lucky enough to see Megan, the new Glinda understudy.
I was really, really impressed. She is nothing at all like Kristin, but in a good way. She doesn't try to imitate what she can't do. She's made the role her own. Her Glinda is very hyper and air-headed, but at the same time very sweet. There were a couple of really cute moments during Popular, where she bounced on the bed and almost knocked Idina off.
Her voice is good, although I could tell she was nervous at the beginning--then again, it was her first show. If she was this good her first time, she'll be amazing after doing it a couple more times.
