Hey everyone!
I was just reading an article about the concert Adam Pascal and Daphne Rubin-Vega did in New Jersey and it said that Adam is thinking about taking over Fiyero when Joey Mac leaves. Well I think he was offered the part but he is still thinking about it.
"And Pascal, who recently closed Aida after appearing in a good chunk of its four year run on Broadway, will be showing off his new Sh-K-songs at a series of live dates, including a November 13 gig at Joe's Pub (And yes, he is still mulling an offer to play Fiyero in Wicked in January.) That would be awesome if Adam played Fiyero!!!! I never saw him in Rent or Aida but those two soundtracks are always in my CD player. I love his voice!

It's an odd coincidence, isn't it? Norbert understudied Adam's part in Rent and later Norbert took over the part Adam originated in Aida. Now the tables have turned and Adam is following Norbert!

If he did, I think I'd have to bribe my parents into seeing it again. Him and Norbert are two of my favorite b'way male singers.
And, yes, Norbert was in Aida, for a little while. And Idina was Amneris in workshops.

And Idina was Amneris in workshops. Actually, Norbert was never in Aida. He replaced Adam in Rent. And Sherie Rene Scott was Amneris from the beginning. Idina wasn't Amneris in the workshop. Idina replaced Taylor Dayne in 2001, who replaced Sherie. |
