i like hideodious (no way i spelled that right), too. I always thought it was 'hideoneous'.. that there was a 'n' in there somwhere.

I happen to like disgusticified. It took me forever to figure out how they were saying it on the CD...me and Jen didn't look at the CD booklet cuz we wanted to figure it out for ourselves...that was the last word I had to learn on the CD and it's so incredibly exxcellent.

It's "hideodious." With a D. I always thought there was an "N" as well. hmm, i'll have to listen carefully next time. and i swear they say "tick tock" at some point.... maybe I just got confused when they said "clock tick" or something. But I was laughing so hard, because it's like Tik Tok in "Return to Oz"! (please tell me you've seen that movie, everyone...) -Drea

"Excuse us Madame, just a tik tock" Sa

But Aly's probably right, considering how many times she's seen it. I haven't seen that movie, but I read the comic of it. My mom had it from when she was really little. It's funny, hehe.

I really think it sticks more to the books, and I love the soundtrack music to it. They talk about tik toc mechnical men in the book "Wicked". Madame Morrible's servent was a mechnical men, and I always picture Tik ToK as being the servent.

back to the disgusticfied thing (sorry for my hideodious spelling), is it me or is it really hard to understand the students when they sing that word? Or at least to sing it back yourself. I always get tounge tied!

I always get tounge tied! When I first got the cast recording and was singing the songs, it took me a long time to be able to say 'disgusticified' at the same speed as the students, hehe.

Yeah that one was a hard one for me to finally get. There were a few more Ozian terms in the San Francisco one than the current Broadway one. I don't remember exactly who said it but "exhaustified". Oh yeah now I know, it was Nessa. I like basically any with "ify" on the end. I do it all the time in school with basically any word!

Although it has been said, I LOVE when they say 'clock tick', disrespectation, outuendo, and ozspeed. Heh heh heh... BUT the best one of all time is... Swankified! That's becoming the most addicting word EVER!!
