I read on another Wicked forum just minutes ago that Michelle Federer will be leaving Wicked July 1? If that is so then that is a very sad case acutally because that means there will be no more original "original" leads. As in from the very beginning in San Fransisco because William Youmans wasnt brought in until New York.

Well I've heard rumours that she is leaving in july. Maybe not july first, but I do suspect she is leaving soon.  |

WHAT?!!?!? OMG... where did u hear that!!! im sooo sad!! im going to the show for my 8th time later this month... it'll be soooo sad w/o her!! i cant believe there will only be one broadway original left!! thank god bill youmans isnt leaving with her!!

when i talked to her last she said she is more than likely extending past july. so i doubt she's leaving tomorrow. if anything she'd be leaving on a sunday not friday

Yeah, all of the cast members of Wicked have left on a Sunday. Also, there would have been much more talk about it, and we would have known a replacement months ago, if she were leaving. I mean, I know JLT was taking over for Kristin last May, and Kristin left last July, and we all knew Shoshana was taking over for Idina near the end of last October. So, we'd have known for a couple of months if she was leaving.

I mean she is good, but unlike other cast members I get tired of seeing her. I would love to see Jenna Leigh Green take over as Nessa on broadway. I have heard wonderful things about her. |

True, she's not a lead, but she's a secondary character, and has as much stage time as Boq, Fiyero, or Madame Morrible, so I do believe they'd make official announcements for her - especially since she is part of the original cast.

I'm sooo glad she didn't leave. Although Nessa isn't my favorite character, I love Michelle! It's so amazing that she got such a great part in her first Broadway show.
