Favorite songs, favorite moments, random quotes....anything to do with the Buffy musical goes here. Think SMG looked like a skeleton with clothes? Tell us about it? Think ASH is the best thing since the orgasm? Expound here, please. Tara and Willow's costumes (OBSCENELY bad)...share your thoughts.

I think the BEST dramatic moment was the Giles/Tara duet. For some strange reason it just gave me goosebumps. Both are excellent singers, so that probably didn't hurt nuthin'. And, I must post the lyrics of my FAVORITE song.. "They got... the mustard... OUT! (They got the mus-tard.. OOOUUUTT!!" Buffy: Not just us. ;D

I never watched more then 3 Buffy Episodes in my life when my friend (a Buffy fanatic) made me watch the musical one. And let me tell you something, it was so freaking funny. Bunnys! Ahh, and yes, that mustard part was hilarious.
I really liked 'Walk Through The Fire' if not just because it's about the only full song I can remember. That and 'I'm Under Your Spell.' Aww...
Oh, and this might just be a little off topic, but it's in relation to Buffy. Who saw the episode[s?] starring our very own wizard, Joel Gray? Tara showed his little scene to me. It's got Dawn and him on top of this big...thing, and she's all bleeding and standing on some edge of something, I don't really remember more then that it was Joel Gray. Heehee... -gyps

Actually, he showed up in a couple episodes that season, (Season 5). The scene you saw from the season finale, "The Gift". Doc (his character) also showed up in the episode "Forever"... and there's actually a lot more Joel in that episode than the finale. Heh. I think my BuffyGeek is showing...

The mustard song rocks!!!
I loved Tara's dress with the corset thingy but I was wondering why the hell she was wearing it!
I was so sad...I had taped the original release of the show but it had all this voting stuff and it made the screen all tiny lol. So I taped over it the next time it aired and it was cut!!! AHHH! Good thing the cd has the full version of the songs.
Does this mean I have to be your...queen?
Love ASH!! Even if she can't sing that well... I think this line's mostly filler...
-Firrrrrrre
haha I love Buffy!
Anyone else get the magazine.??no? Ok just me then...lol

I get the mag when I can afford it. Or I used to anyway. I have every ep on tape, and all the DVDs that are out. I have both Watcher's Guides (the third one is coming out!! Finally!), the Angel Case Files and Fear and Trembling in Sunnydale: Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Philosophy... I've had a Buffy calendar for the last 6 years (and freaked out this year when they were all out cuz I didn't get it soon enough from the bookstore. Thankfully, I found it online). Yeah, I like Buffy just a tad... llam
And speaking of the mustard song, has anyone noticed that in the Anya ep in season 7, you can hear the song about getting the mustard on Fury's shirt in the background before she starts singing in her flashback? And how fun is it that Fury and Marti were in the musical? hehe It's like Joss in No Place Like Plrtz Glrb!

Haha yes! I did notice that! lol I wish Anya's song was on the cd. I didn't realize how funny it was until I looked up the lyrics. "Lame ass made up name Harris" hahaha. Aww I miss Anya. I used to read the books too but they just got boring after a while I thought.

Fear and Trembling in Sunnydale: Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Philosophy That's just like Hunter Thompson's 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: A savage journey to the heart of the american dream.' Hehe... -gyps

I don't remember specific moments but I definitely remember this episode. It was soooo excellent! The lyrics and songs were so random...but it was amazing!

I love Alyson too! Hehe. I seem to remember reading something around the time of the musical that she was going to threaten laryngitis if Joss made her sing.

Lol yeah I heard she was terrified to sing for the show. That's why she only had a few lines. In the preview she said "I'm only here to lip sync" lol. And she was pretending to hold out this big long note while the big chorus sang part of the mustard song.
