I'm happy for LOTR, but I wish Cold Mountain was up for Best Picture.... bc its the best movie I've seen in a while (besides Big Fish).... at least Renee won- she deserved it ;D

Yep. With 11 Oscars won out of 11 Oscar nominations, "Lord of the Rings" tied the record. And, as a fan since the very first movie.... it was about time!!  Heck yeah.  And it's the first fantasy movie to ever win Best Picture...this year's Oscars had a lot of firsts: Fantasy Best Picture American Woman Director nominated Afrians (male and female) nominated |

LOTR definitely deserved everything they won. Good movie. So whoelse loved Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara?? That movie is so freakin hilarious. Almost as good as Best in Show. Wish they coulda won, but losing to Annie Lennox is nothing to be ashamed of. And Will Ferrell and Jack Black?? DSO LLAMOC. I hope they reprint those lyrics somewhere.
