This topic was on another board, and I thought it was intresting enough to share: In the whole Cell Block Tango scene in Chicago, all of the six merry murderesses have a little blurb they say about killing thier lover (i.e. Velma talks about how her sister Veronica and her husband Charlie had been found doin #17 the Spread-Eagle). But I was wondering , what would Roxie have said if she were in CBT? What do you think?

I was cheating on my husband, every night. It got out of hand and he told me I wasn't a star no more. He lied to me, and, I don't like liers. So, as he was about to walk out I shot him. I shot him 3 times.

I think she would go with the story she told Amos: He was trying to burgle me, and in self-defense I shot him three times.

I think she'd say what she says in her "Roxie" monolouge, basically.
"Well, to make a long story short, I starting [messing?] around. Then I started screwing around, which is [messing?] around without dinner."
Argh, what IS the word? I know it's not messing..

I think she would have stuck with the story that she told Amos. It fits in with the stories that the other women tell.

I think she would have stuck with the story that she told Amos. It fits in with the stories that the other women tell. Well, the story she told Amos was a lie, and the other Cell Block girl's stories were the truth with a bit of a 'not guilty' flair to it. So maybe it'd be a mix of both her Amos-story and her "Roxie" monolouge. Ho-hum, don't mind me, I'm a bit of a Chicago freak. It's my favorite show besides Wicked.
