Other and Idina and Kristin of course , who are your favorite singers? My all-time favorite is Judy Garland, followed by Liza Minnelli. I also love Bernadette Peters.

I have her autograph hanging above my bed! I love Judy Garland and Barbara, oy! My friend and I have debates all the time over who is/was the better performer of those two. And can I just say, Colm Wilkinsen (sp) makes me cry everytime I listen to his voice!?! Hmmm...I think I'm seeing a trend with my favorite singers. Maybe I need to branch out in my musical tastes...NAH!

Well my favorite's also have to be Judy and Liza (and both of them together in thier concert was awesome). But I also really like Stephanie D'Abruzzo from Avenue Q and Catherine Zeta-Jones. I mean come on Liza's version of "All That Jazz" was a little freaky, but Catherine was perfect as Velma Kelly in Chicago, and I thought she hit the nail on the head with the singing. Oh oh! And I also like Lindsay Lohan (sad I know) and Sarah Jessica Parker (who was awesome in "Once Upon A Mattress). I believe that's it . . . for now.

Well, Idina is definately my favorite, I've been listening to her CDs and cast recordings nonstop for the past few weeks. I also like Evanescense (watch me have spelled that wrong, heh). 'My Immortal' is one of my favorite songs right now. I hardly listen to anything but cast recordings anymore though, llam. Sad.

There's something so incredibly painful yet alluring about the lead singer of Portishead's voice, Beth G. She's just so...hurt, used, and she sings like it. But at the same time, while not sounding entirely beautiful, it's something different. -gyps

I also like Evanescense (watch me have spelled that wrong, heh). 'My Immortal' is one of my favorite songs right now. We listened to one of her songs in choir! And I remember loving it because it was so pretty....if my memory serves me correctly it was called "Hello." Do you know if she has a song by that name? I heart Colm Wilkinson. One of my favorite Broadway performers is Kerry O'Malley...ah, can we say talent!? Love her.

Cast recordings and the recordings of those from original broadway casts who have made their own CDs (Idina, Kristin...).

Idina, of course, is my all-time favorite, because her voice is so similar to mine and it gives me hope that after singing lessons maybe I'll be able to belt like her (yeah, right!). Adam Pascal is my GOD, and Clay Aiken, and Colm Wilkinson...I also like Lea Salonga, Bernadette Peters, Sarah Brightman, and Daphne Rubin-Vega.

Hmmm. Well, I'm in the "Colm Wilkinson rocks my ruby slippers" camp too. I also love Michael Ball, Linda Eder, Lea Salonga, Clay Aiken, John Lennon, and Paul McCartney.... *sighs* Well, there are more. I know there are... I'm drawing a blank at the moment though! Shame, shame..
