Boston's an "A" market, and it'll be a First National Tour, so I'm sure it will eventually. Show of the Month or Bway in Boston will probably be affiliated with it.

Dallas and Houston might both be, I'm not sure. Do ya'll get a lot of tours there? I'm not sure what specifically makes Equity consider a city an "A" market.

We don't get a lot of tours, but we got Mamma Mia and Jesus Christ Superstar, so not too shabby. I am sure somewhere in driving distance will have it. If not, I will simply have to redefine driving distance.... |

Coleen Sexton was Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde for a while. You can see her in the David Hasselhoff J&H film. She's really good. I could totally see her as Elphie.

Or maybe Julia Murney will audition for Elphaba, lol I really want her to get it. And somebody said the other day, "What about Daphne Rubin-Vega for Elphaba". At first I 100% said no. But, when you really stop and think hard, at least for the acting, it might work. I like the idea of Julia Murney more but Daphne really could work if you think hard.

I'm thinking the tour will probably come to my local theater. It gets a lot of big-name tours in and is actually expanding the stage size over the summer to accomidate extra large tours.... this would also be sweet because I usher at Proctor's... ;D

If it comes to Boston, my father, who refuses to let me go to NYC, said he'd take me and any of my friends who are interested, which is myself, and my friends Zach and Colleen, and my boyfriend Keith. *squeals* WICKED! I just wish that the OBC could go on tour...but I'm seriously doubting they will, because they're all so fantastically talented and BUSY...but I'm still hoping!

Yeah they're all A-list actors who haven't had to do a tour to support themseleves in years, if ever. So they probably won't be on tour. The only time OBCs tour is if they do a lot of out of town tryouts. Like, instead of just SF they'd done Chicago and Boston too before coming to NYC. But, they didn't. Oh well!
But hey, if the gods are kind, I'll get a spot in the ensemble and you can see me =P Yay hometown crowd!
