I have just discovered The Last 5 Years and am completely in love with it (not as much as Wicked, mind you). I love the song "Summer in Ohio" (sharing a room with a former striping and her snake...wayne, that part makes me giggle) and I Can Do Better Than That. ICDBTT is so peppy and makes me feel good  . |

On Lauren Kennedy's CD (LK= the original Cathy frm when they first did the show in Chicago), Lauren Kennedy: The Songs of Jason Robert Brown she sings a kickin version of ICDBTT. Alos included are "When You Come Home to Me" "Goodbye Until Tomorrow" and the song that inspired the whole show, and rumor has it was the original opening number, "Letting You Go" LK's CD is a major must have for all L5Y fans Also? Wow, that's so cool...I never knew that. But yeah, I discovered The Last 5 Years after I saw Wicked the first time...and I love all the songs...favorites though are anything Norbert sings (lol), Climbing Uphill and ICDBTT. Go last 5 years!

OOOO! I wanna get that CD so badly! At my dance school the class before mine was doing a dance to a song from it...dunno what it is but my friend told me it was from L5Y and I was like "WOW! I wanna get it!"

I just got the cd!! Its soo good! I started cracking up when cathy was singing..I forget what song it is but shes like "dont look at my shoes..i hate these shoes..why is the director looking at his crotch..why'd i pick these shoes" llam sorry I dont think thats how it actually goes but it made me laugh so hard

Yeah Letty that one's Climbing Uphill- it's so hilarious isn't it? I also love Shiska Goddess and Summer in Ohio.
This CD is great! It's no Wicked but it's really really good ;D

Kay guys, what exactly is a Shiksa Goddess? Never mind Ally just told me, it's a Gentile woman. And so is a goyishe maid, too  This recording has totally grown on me- crazy that I've had it for like more than a month and hadn't listened to it until last week It's really great! |

And it really shows of both of them, but Norbert especially, in a way that most of their others shows haven't.

Im still sorta confused about the story though..lol what is the song where the stories interfere??cuz I was reading the preface or whatever and it sais that at one point the stories interfere at their wedding or something..lol im very confused

Next 10 Minutes....they both meet....you can tell because the beginning of the song is like the end...it's really cool how that happens
